Hilaria Baldwin Explains Why She Got a Breast Lift After Having Children: ‘My Body Wasn’t My Body’

Hilaria Baldwin opened up about getting a breast lift after giving birth to her children.

During the Sunday, April 6, episode of her reality TV series The Baldwins, which explores family life with her husband, Alec Baldwin, Hilaria, 41, detailed that she went under the knife after breastfeeding “for so long.”

“It was one of those things I decided to do, like, a little up,” Hilaria told the cameras in the episode, per People. “I’ve been pregnant and/or breastfeeding for over a decade. I think this is the first time that I’ve not been pregnant and/or breastfeeding since I’ve started having kids.”

Hilaria, who married Alec, 67, in 2012, and shares Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Edouardo, 4, Maria, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with him, noted that her body went through extraordinary change after becoming a mother. (Maria was welcomed via a surrogate in March 2021.)

“I got used to my body more or less a certain way than as most women know who breastfeed and the milk goes out, it’s a different, much lower reality. It almost felt like my body wasn’t my body anymore, because I was so used to my body being a certain way,” she explained. “It was just to make myself feel OK, and that’s OK.”

Hilaria has proven to be extremely candid on the TLC reality show, recently revealing that the age gap she shares with Alex was difficult to navigate at first. “I used to do things very much the way Alec wanted them. I lived with tremendous anxiety and tremendous stress,” Hilaria said on the March 30 episode of The Baldwins. “I almost felt like I was a kid in an adult’s home. I don’t want to say parent because that sounds weird. But someone’s home and I didn’t feel like it was my home.”

The yoga instructor and entrepreneur has been just as open about her body over the years. In April 2021, just one month after Maria was brought into the world, Hilaria shared a photo of her exposed belly via an Instagram Story. “Yes, yes, I have loose skin after all my pregnancies,” she wrote on one Story before adding another that showed Maria’s belly rolls. “Baby friend woke up … she and I twin tummy wise,” she captioned the other Story.

Earlier this month, Hilaria and all seven of her children celebrated Alec’s 67th birthday with a cake at home. “Happy birthday, Alec,” Hilaria captioned a sweet Instagram video on Thursday, March 3. “We love you!”

Alex also shares daughter Ireland Baldwin, 29, with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
