‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Season 2 Trailer Features Police, Clout Chasers and #MomTok Mess

Grab the popcorn and dirty soda because The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is back and bigger than ever.
On Tuesday, April 22, Hulu debuted the official trailer for season 2 during Disney Entertainment Television’s “Get Real” unscripted showcase in Beverly Hills, California.
From the very beginning, the cast acknowledges just how big #MomTok has become after the show premiered in September 2024.
“Life has been a blur,” Taylor Frankie Paul shares in the sneak peek. “#MomTok has become a nationwide trend.”
This season, Taylor, 30, will continue to work on her relationship with Dakota Mortensen as he appears to struggle with his sobriety. Along the way, she will also have to relive any and all swinging drama when her ex-best friend Miranda McWhorter joins the cast.
“Anyone that comes in at this point is clout chasing,” Demi Engemann proclaims in the trailer.
However, Miranda, 27, says she has other plans when she declares, “I’m going to set the record straight on the swinging scandal.”
Elsewhere in the trailer, Whitney Leavitt makes it clear that she wants to rejoin the group after a dramatic exit in season 1.
While some costars appear hesitant to welcome her back, Whitney, 31, believes, “Everybody just needs to get the freakin’ stick out of their [butt].”
Jen Affleck is still working on her marriage to Zac Affleck. After she admits things are “pretty rocky” between the pair, things get tense when Zac, 28, asks producers to “please cut the camera.”
Finally, a trip to Italy’s Château Rosabelle creates an epic crossover event with The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives and Vanderpump Villa casts. What was meant to be a relaxing vacation quickly gets spicy with a possible cease and desist.
“If she comes at me, I will absolutely dominate her,” Demi, 30, cryptically says in the trailer.
In March, the trailer for Vanderpump Villa showed Demi appearing to flirt with Vanderpump Villa staffer Marciano Brunette.
That same month, Stassi Schroeder confirmed #MomTok brings the drama when she cryptically told Us Weekly, “I’ve seen all the episodes. That s*** goes down.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was Hulu’s most-watched unscripted series of 2024. For season 2, fans can look forward to 10 episodes as the cast — which also includes Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews —battles for the soul of #MomTok.
Mark your calendars for season 2 as The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives returns to Hulu on Thursday, May 15.
