Ms. Rachel and Husband Aron Accurso Pledge $1 Million to World Food Program USA

Ms. Rachel is continuing to use her success to benefit children around the world.
The beloved educator, real name Rachel Griffin-Accurso, and her husband, Aron Accurso, pledged to donate $1 million to World Food Program USA.
“We are thrilled to announce that our dear friends, Ms. Rachel and Mr. Aron, are pledging $1 million to World Food Program USA, showing their deep commitment to ending hunger for children and their families all around the world,” WFP USA shared via Instagram on Tuesday, April 22. “This gift will help WFP provide 2 million lifesaving meals to those who need it most, and we are beyond grateful for their support — it will truly save and change lives.”
The post continued, “Thank you, thank you, thank you for all you do in support of our mission for a zero hunger world.”
Ms. Rachel, 42, has been vocal about protecting and caring for children, whether it be through her YouTube channel “Songs for Littles” or on social media.
She continuously fights world hunger and recently shared a note via Instagram about standing up for kids and their human rights.
“All children have the right to food, water, medical care and education. All children should be protected from violence,” she wrote alongside a message that read, “Children have human rights. These rights are not just for some children, they are for all children. Standing up for children, especially those who are most vulnerable, is the right thing to do.”
Ms. Rachel became a household name amid the growing popularity of her educational YouTube videos for babies and toddlers, and her early learning content on Netflix. She has fans all around the globe, including celebrities like Kylie Kelce, Mandy Moore and Robert De Niro.
She and Accurso — who’s a composer and music director for Broadway’s Aladdin — recently welcomed their second child, a daughter named Susannah. Ms. Rachel revealed the surprising news via Instagram in April, writing alongside a photo of her newborn baby girl, “We welcomed sweet baby Susannah into the world! 💕 We are so in love!”
She continued, “I was unable to carry this pregnancy for medical reasons and we were blessed to have a surrogate who gave us the most precious gift possible. We are now all family forever. We have immense gratitude and a deep bond. It’s been a truly beautiful experience. I’m in awe of her. Aron — Thank you for being the best husband and dada!”
Ms. Rachel and Accurso are already parents of 7-year-old son Thomas, whose speech delay inspired their YouTube channel.
“Thomas is amazing,” she told Today in 2024. “He’s so bright. He’s the sweetest boy. He’s a cheerleader for everyone. He’ll be like, ‘Mommy, you took a shower! You washed your hair! You did it!’ He’s sunshine.”
She added that he also supports his parents’ work as educators. “I think since my husband and I have both been working on this for his whole life, and he knows he inspired it, he’s proud of that,” she said, adding of his mom being on screens everywhere, “He really views ‘Ms. Rachel’ like I’m going to work at a school as a teacher. It’s just kind of what I do.”
