The Rizzler is rizzing up the cast of Thunderbolts*.

The 9-year-old social media star, born Christian Joseph, attended a special screening of the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film hosted by the Cinema Society at New York City’s iPic Theater on Wednesday, April 30.

Joseph wore a Red Guardian costume and posed alongside several of the film’s cast members, including Lewis Pullman, Florence Pugh, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Wyatt Russell, with his signature “rizz face.” The pose involves mugging for the camera while he strokes his chin with his hand.

David Harbour portrays Red Guardian in the film but did not appear to be in attendance at Wednesday’s screening.

The influencer, who boasts 1.6 million followers on TikTok, later posted a video dressed in character for the screening. In the video, he walks up to the counter and says, “Two tickets please,” to which an employee answers, “For what movie?” The Rizzler pointed to his outfit, hoping the employee would catch on.

Joseph found viral fame for his humorous commentary while wearing a Black Panther costume on Halloween night in 2023, garnering 2.5 million likes. He later gained a following for his signature pose.

“Rizz” is short for “charisma,” and is often used to refer to flirting or a charming person.

The term “rizz” was Oxford’s word of the year in 2023. Oxford University Press officially defines the word as “someone’s ability to attract another person through style, charm, or attractiveness.” Oxford’s Word of the Year 2023 was selected by a team of language experts and more than 32,000 votes.

Thunderbolts*, based on a Marvel comic of the same name, features a band of anti-heroes as they find themselves thrown together to escape a death trap. Returning franchise cast members include Sebastian Stan as The Winter Soldier, Pugh as Yelena Belova, Harbour as Red Guardian, Russell as a U.S. Agent, Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. Pullman plays a mysterious character known as Bob aka Sentry.
