See Alec Baldwin tussle with anti-Israel rabble-rouser at NYC coffee shop
Alec Baldwin became physical with an anti-Israel agitator who repeatedly urged him to shout, “Free Palestine” at a New York City coffee shop.
Footage obtained by Page Six shows the former “30 Rock” star asking a male staffer at Maman on University Place to call the police as the woman, known online as Crackhead Barney, continued to berate him.
“Alec, can you please say, ‘Free Palestine’ one time?” asked the protester, who hosts an “anti-fascist” show called “Crackhead Barney & Friends.”
“’Free Palestine,’ Alec, just one time, and I’ll leave you alone,” she said. “I’ll leave you alone, I swear.”
The woman added, “F–k Israel, f–k Zionism.”
The performance artist, who is known for her ambush-style interviews, then went after Baldwin, 66, for his involvement in the fatal 2021 shooting of “Rust” cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.
Special prosecutors dismissed an involuntary manslaughter charge against the actor in April 2023, but a grand jury indicted him in January after receiving new evidence. He has denied responsibility.
“Why did you kill that lady? You killed that lady and got no jail time,” the rabble-rouser said while calling Baldwin a “criminal.”
The Oscar nominee continuously gestured for the woman to exit the shop before eventually slapping her phone out of her hand.
Photos also obtained by Page Six show Baldwin in an active struggle with the woman, who was dressed in red shorts and a white bra, before she walked away from the coffee shop and proceeded down the block.
His rep didn’t immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.
The “Motherless Brooklyn” star was previously caught in an anti-Israel protest in December when a mob demanded to know whether he supported Israel or Palestine in the ongoing conflict between the two.
Cops guarded Baldwin as he attempted to access a locked door near West 29th Street at the time, but he struggled to ignore the demonstrators’ ongoing remarks.
“I support peace for Gaza,” he told the crowd.
A source told journalist Yashar Ali that the “Saturday Night Live” alum was in the area for an acting class and had no intention of joining the 2023 protest.
“He was approached aggressively and repeatedly,” the insider said. “The police stepped in to avoid further confrontation so he could make his way to the class safely.”
