Cody Johnson had to break up a fight at his show this weekend.

On Saturday, June 21, the country star took the stage at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas for his second night at the venue where a fight broke out amid his performance of “God Bless America,” per My San Antonio.

In fan-captured TikTok footage of the concert, fans can be seen grabbing at one another and falling to the ground in the crowd.

As his band plays in the background, Cody addresses the brawl while speaking to the audience.

“I mean, this is not a Travis Scott concert,” he said, appearing to refer to the 2021 Astroworld tragedy, where 10 audience members at his concert were killed and thousands were injured due to a crowd crush at NRG Park in Houston, Texas.

Cody added: “There’s kids in the crowd, there’s all kinds of things in here that don’t need to happen.”

Later, the “Dirt Cheap” artist tells the crowd that the “police” have arrived to which the crowd cheered.

According to the Daily Mail, Cody had spoken to the crowd about “unity and not being divided” before launching into “God Bless America.”

Per the publication, after the brawl, he joked: “Well, so much for my speech on not being divided.”
