It’s a busy summer for Cardi B.

The rapper and entrepreneur launched the new chocolate flavor of Whipshots, her vodka-infused whipped cream brand, with an event at the iconic Serendipity 3 in N.Y.C. on Thursday, June 26 attended by fans and her three kids: sons Kulture, 6, and Wave, 3, plus daughter Blossom, 9 months.

The event came days after Cardi, 32, announced her long-awaited upcoming second album, Am I the Drama?, and released its lead single, “Outside,” which is already charting on streaming services around the world.

During the Whipshots event at the iconic Serendipity 3, the Grammy winner sat down with PEOPLE to discuss the new flavor, summer plans and meaning behind the title of her new album.

Why did it take you so long to launch a chocolate Whipshots flavor?

We really started with like the three flavors and, you know, mocha, kind of reflects chocolate, but when you taste the chocolate and the mocha it’s a really big difference. We have launched different flavors. Everybody’s been requesting chocolate, so we’re here now. Sorry for the delay.

What’s the most surprising food or drink you have paired with Whipshots?

I don’t know if it’s really surprising, but I really like the lemon flavor with, like, creamy lemonade. It’s so good.

When it comes to a brand like Whipshots, what are the best and worst parts of being a CEO?

The best is when you see people actually consuming your product, and the worst is when you think that you’re not doing [enough], when you want to be further but you feel like you’re not. But it’s the beauty of it, so.

Are you a big Serendipity 3 fan?

I love Serendipity 3. I was actually here two years ago with my kids. I actually have videos with them with my kids and my mom, and the food was amazing, but my son was acting up, so it’s funny that I actually have a product here. Not only do I have a product here, I got my kids here with me again, so it’s a full-circle moment but with a super purpose besides being hungry. I always wanted to come here. It’s one of the hottest spots in New York City, and if you’re a tourist or if you live in New York, you have to come here. It’s so cute, it’s so adorable and it’s perfect for a date.

Your new single is “Outside.” What are some things you plan to do outside this summer?

Outside I’m going to be shaking ass, drinking Whipshots. I’m gonna be outside, but I’m gonna be outside with a partner, so that’s what I’m gonna say.

And your new album, Am I the Drama?, will arrive seven years after Invasion of Privacy. What’s the biggest difference between you as an artist then and now?

It’s a lot. I dealt with a lot for 7 years. It has been a journey, and I have evolved as a person and as an artist, and I cannot wait for you guys to hear that.

Tell me about the album title. Is it a reference to Scarlet Envy’s quote from RuPaul’s Drag Race?

It’s just actually a mood that I feel because I feel like I’m always in some drama, and I don’t understand why I’m always in some drama. It’s like, “Damn, am I the drama? Is it me? Like, what? Why am I always in some s—? But I do know she said it on Drag Race and it’s like, “Well s—, great minds think alike.” She said it before me, and I’m gonna give her, always, the props. I always give people props, and I love her, and I’m gonna be working with her more often. And, like, look who ended up winning Drag Race at the end?
