Dog the Bounty Hunter is going though an unimaginable tragedy after his stepgrandson, Anthony Zecca, was accidentally shot and killed by his father, Gregory Zecca.

Gregory — who’s the son of Dog’s wife, Francie Frane — accidentally shot his 13-year-old son in a “freak accident” on Saturday night, TMZ reported Sunday.

The incident occurred in their apartment in Naples, Florida, per the outlet.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office tells Page Six that deputies responded to a report of a shooting at 8:08 p.m. in Naples. One person was deceased. According to police, it was an isolated incident.

No arrests have been made and it’s an active investigation.

Dog — whose real name is Duane Chapman — and Francie confirmed the tragic loss in a statement.

“We are grieving as a family over this incomprehensible tragic accident and would ask for continued prayers as we grieve the loss of our beloved grandson, Anthony,” they said in a statement to TMZ.

Dog’s rep didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

Dog is the father to 13 children from six different relationships. He married Francie — a rancher from Colorado — in September 2021.

Their wedding took place 10 months after his wife, Beth Chapman, died following a battle with throat cancer.

Dog and Francie were also brought together through tragedy after she also lost her spouse to cancer.

Francie lost her husband, Bob, an excavator, to the disease just six months before Beth died.

“We understood the pain that the other one was feeling and [in] those tough days and moments, we helped each other stand up,” Francie said in a September 2020 interview with Entertainment Tonight. “We could cry with each other and talk about what we were feeling.”

“We were able to walk alongside each other through the pain and heartbreak and it brought us together in this amazing way,” she added.

Dog briefly spoke about Francie’s children in a September 2020 appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show.”

“I know she’s a hunter. Her and her two sons have hunted bow hunt, so they track, they look for things that the prey leaves behind,” he said.

“She just fit right in,” he added about his first bounty hunt with Francie. “She started getting leads and writing them down, so there’s more than just tracking and hunting.”
