Caitlin Clark is having a little fun at Kelsey Plum’s expense!

On the same day that the Los Angeles Sparks guard drew ire from fans when she called out members of Team Clark for missing a WNBA All-Star meeting, the Indiana Fever star poked fun at Plum in her Instagram comments.

“Thank u for the Nike ad,” Clark, 23, wrote in response to a glam photo of Plum in which she posed in front of a Nike swoosh.

Plum, who sported a leather-like top, green wide-legged pants and a Loewe handbag, is an Under Armour athlete, while Clark is endorsed by Nike.

The WNBA phenom’s response to Plum’s post came hours after the latter appeared at a postgame press conference alongside Sabrina Ionescu, who played for Team Clark.

Plum said that players taking the court in their “Pay Us What You Owe Us” shirts was “a very powerful moment” that had come together just that morning.

“As players, we didn’t know that that was going to happen,” she said. “It was a genuine surprise. The t-shirt, as a united front, was determined this morning that we had a meeting for.”

Then, Plum added, “Not to tattletale; zero members of Team Clark were very present for that.”

Ionescu rolled her eyes and responded: “That needed to be mentioned.”

While Clark did not play in this year’s game due to an ongoing groin injury, she and Plum also had a run-in at last year’s All-Star Game.

In footage from the 2024 game, Plum can be seen aggressively defending Clark, pestering her in a full-court press not usually seen in exhibition games.
