Doctor charged in Matthew Perry’s death pleads guilty

Dr. Salvador Plasencia pleaded guilty to four counts of distributing ketamine for his role in Matthew Perry’s 2023 death.
Plasencia made his plea in a federal courthouse on Wednesday in accordance with his deal from prosecutors, reports NBC News.
A judge has decided he will remain out on bond until his Dec. 3 sentencing hearing.
Plasencia faces up to 40 years in prison and three years of supervised release as well as a fine of at least $2 million, per his agreement with prosecutors.
