Fans mistake Jennifer Lopez for Gwen Stefani in new platinum blond glam selfies

Jennifer Lopez had fans doing a double take after several confused her for fellow singer Gwen Stefani in new platinum blond selfies.

The actress took to Instagram Monday to give a sneak peek of her old Hollywood glam for the role of Aurora in the forthcoming Bill Condon-directed musical thriller “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

The snaps showed her rocking a wig with a high curly ponytail and a pale pink headband.

Lopez’s chic look stood out, as she wore a bold red lipstick with matching acrylic nails.

She complemented her features with neutral colored eyeshadow and blush

The “Selena” star, 56, also donned a pink robe in the mirror selfies, as she seemingly appeared to be prepping for a bathtub scene.

Another snap showed Lopez glammed up in a tub, while looking over dress sketches.

“Stepping into the role of Aurora felt like dancing through the golden age of cinema … with all the glitz, glamour, and a whole lot of dancing,” she captioned the photos.

“Stepping back into time has never been so much fun. ✨.”

Several fans gushed over their anticipation for the film, which will be released on Oct. 10, while others couldn’t help but compare Lopez to Stefani, 55.

“I thought this was Gwen Stefani at first!” one person commented, to which several agreed, “saaaame!”

“She looks like Gwen Stefani,” a third added, as a fourth quipped, “What in the Gwen Stefani is this?”

Even singer Natasha Bedingfield joined in, writing, “Omg you look like @gwenstefani. Love you sis.”

Stefani notably rocks platinum blond hair and often an iconic red lip.

Lopez, meanwhile, stars alongside Diego Luna in the film, which is set in the time period of 1983.
