Joy Behar jokes her ‘holes are dried up’ as she celebrates 83rd birthday on ‘The View’

Joy Behar had some cheeky fun with a double entendre as she joked her “holes are dried up” while celebrating her 83rd birthday on Tuesday’s episode of “The View.”

The panelist was referring to her ear piercings as she attempted to unload her personal clip-on earrings during her celebratory tag sale.

“In honor of my 39th birthday, it’s time for my annual birthday tag sale. And because I’m such a giver, every one of you can get in on the fun because we have some personal items that belong to me and my co-hosts,” Behar said, before introducing her “fabulous” contribution.

“Now, I have a fabulous collection of clip-on earrings. Whenever I see them, I buy them, because my holes are dried up,” she continued.

Eventually, Behar went on to show the Oscar de la Renta clip-on earrings she bought at a yard sale from a couple who were getting a divorce.

“So touching, isn’t it?” she teased, to which her co-host Sara Haines added that they “carry luck with them.”

“If you get these, you might get a divorce, so it might be worth to buy them,” Behar quipped back.

On a serious note, the comedian went on to share that proceeds from the sales will be going to one of Behar’s “favorite charities,” The Retreat — a nonprofit that provides safety and support for victims of domestic abuse.

Elsewhere in the episode, Behar received several happy birthday messages from her co-hosts, including Haines and Whoopi Goldberg, before she reflected on her long tenure as a host on the daytime talk show.

“You know, 25 years ago, or whenever it was, I was on the show with Rosie O’Donnell. When was that, 40 years ago? She said, ‘Tell your age.’ I said, ‘It gives me vertigo.’ So, can you imagine the vertigo I have now?” Behar joked.

“You make it look good, Joy,” Haines assured her. “I would own that and fly that flag.”

For her 82nd birthday, Behar celebrated on the show with a surprise hot and saucy pizza delivery strip tease from Nathan Lane.
