Christina Haack and Ex-Husband Ant Anstead Pose Together at Son Hudson’s School Conference

Christina Haack and ex-husband Ant Anstead are proving they know how to make coparenting work.

“T​​eacher conference week… Hudzo is thriving!” Anstead, 46, wrote via Instagram on Friday, October 10, documenting his son Hudson’s parent-teacher conferences, which he attended alongside his ex, 42.

“I’m gonna give us a pat on the back! We doing a great job with this little chap!” Anstead continued in the caption, which he shared alongside a photo of the exes each holding up the same photo of Hudson, 6, “Nice work mum x.”

Haack and Anstead have been reuniting in support of their shared son following their 2021 split. Recently, the pair celebrated Hudson’s sixth birthday together in September.

“Hudzo explained it’s his ‘golden birthday’ as he’s 6 on the 6th! Legend!” Anstead captioned a joint Instagram post with Haack on September 7. “Weekend celebrating our miracle boy with a CHAOS filled party we all gone need a lay down. Hudzo we love you.”

The duo have come a long way since their 2021 divorce and the contentious custody battle that followed.

Haack and Anstead initially agreed to joint custody of Hudson, but Anstead changed his mind and petitioned the court for full custody in April 2022.

“What Ant is doing deeply saddens me,” Haack told Us in a statement at the time. “If this was really about Hudson, as he says, this should have been handled privately with a private judge or mediation, as myself and my attorney have suggested. I have had my share of ups and downs but I am a good mom and I love my children with all my heart and I will always protect them.”

Anstead’s petition was filed three weeks after Haack married her now ex-husband, Joshua Hall. His emergency order was denied the same month he filed after the judge found Anstead provided an “insufficient showing” of proof Haack was unfit to have custody of Hudson.

Happily, Haack and Anstead have since grown closer and often come together to support their son. The duo attended Hudson’s soccer game together in April 2025, something Haack shared via Instagram.

“Can’t rain on this parade ⚽️,” Haack, 41, wrote via her Instagram Stories on April 26. She also tagged Anstead’s account and shared a photo of the pair standing together during the game.

Haack has previously admitted that divorcing Hall helped her and Anstead mend their own problems. “When Josh and I split up, I hadn’t really talked to Ant in years,” Haack exclusively told Us Weekly in January 2025. “The whole time I was with Josh, I would worry [thinking about how] Hudson’s sports [games] are coming up, we’re going to have to be on the field together, how’s Josh going to handle it?”

She added: “I was dropping Hudson off at Ant’s house, and he gave me a big hug and was like, ‘I’m here for you and I’m so sorry you’re going through this. He said, ‘I feel like Josh is the source of the problem [and why] I couldn’t communicate.’ Now we’re back on track.”
