Kylie Jenner Rocks Extreme Cutout Dress, Draws Comparisons to Kendall’s Notorious Wedding Guest Outfit

Kylie Jenner turned up the heat by rocking a look that left little to the imagination — sharing sultry new photos in a black latex cutout dress that clung to every curve.
With a sparkling french manicure, layered iced-out rings with her “KJ” initials and a high-shine choker, she delivered a daring head-to-toe look via Instagram on Wednesday, October 15, that had many celebrating the return of her “King Kylie” era.
Some fans couldn’t help but compare the ensemble to sister Kendall Jenner’s controversial wedding guest dress from November 2021.
Kendall, 29, notably sparked online chatter after posting a mirror selfie with Hailey Bieber at friend Lauren Perez’s wedding in Miami, wearing a skin-baring black dress by Mônot after swapping out of her bridesmaid dress. (Perez, for her nuptials, wowed in a strapless Vera Wang gown.)
Some critics blasted the model’s outfit as “inappropriate” for a wedding and claimed she was trying to outshine the bride, but Perez spoke out in her defense at the time, saying she thought Jenner was “stunning” while highlighting that she “loved” the look.
Kendall also noted, “@laurenperez obvi asked for your approval in advance too.”
Kylie, 28, had fans doing a double take with her latest smoldering snaps, in which she went all out for a full bombshell effect.
She teamed her look with black peep-toe stilettos and a Hermès Sellier bag with a crocodile finish and diamond clasp. The bag itself retails for $300,000 on the resale market, according to Page Six.
Her sculpted contour, updo with cascading curls and fierce cat-eye makeup with shimmering pink blush had commenters sounding off about her rule-breaker moment.
“Careful what you wish for 👑,” the beauty maven captioned her post, to which one social media user replied, “This is exactly what I wished for.”
“The Cartier bracelets, the glam, the fit 😩🖤✨,” another posted, while Khloé Kardashian also joined the chat, writing, “OMG are we ok.”
While promoting Kylie Cosmetics’ new “King Kylie Collection” earlier this week, Kylie pushed style boundaries yet again by posing in the buff, wearing only body glitter and a crown.
As part of her new drop, she is launching updated versions of her 2015 Lip Kits, including discontinued shades True Brown K and Dead as Knight, per Cosmetics Business.
Fans can also get their hands on limited-edition shades, including a glossy pink shade named Like, a mauve gloss named Literally, and a chrome glaze named She’s Back.
She proudly announced her King Kylie collection via Instagram on Monday, October 13, gushing to her fans, “You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here … 10 years later!”
Kylie added, “I’ve seen all your messages asking for a King Kylie collection, the fearless era that had a dream at just 17 years old! … and that’s why I posted that tweet back in 2022. I wanted to give you exactly what you’ve been waiting for.”
“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being on this journey with me,” she concluded her post. “I hope this collection makes you as happy as you’ve made me. King Kylie Collection launches October 18. 👑 12PM PST KYLIECOSMETICS.COM.”
