Adam Brody and Leighton Meester Step Out Together on the Red Carpet for ‘Nobody Wants This’ Season 2 Premiere

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody are stepping out in style for the season 2 premiere of their Netflix series Nobody Wants This.

The couple appeared on the red carpet outside of Hollywood’s Egyptian Theater on Thursday, October 16. Meester, 39, posed in a flowy, plunge-neck gown from Chopard executive Caroline Scheufele’s Couture 2025 collection. The gown’s train featured a vaguely psychedelic ombre dip-dye pattern in shades of aubergine, sky blue, and lavender.

Meester let her dress make a bold statement as she paired her look with slicked-back hair and minimalist jewelry, but did choose to accent the look with a punchy crimson lip.

For his part, Brody, 45, brought his own style to the red carpet via a tweed jacket, tan pants, and a burnt-orange sweater over a white button down shirt.

On the red carpet, Brody and Meester also posed alongside a group of their Nobody Wants This co-stars, including Kristen Bell and Timothy Simons.

Meester is making an appearance in Nobody Wants This‘s second season, and she’s already planning to make a splash. Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE on Oct. 4, Meester shared that her character would “stir up some drama” on the Netflix comedy series.

In the series, Meester will portray Abby, the middle school nemesis of Bell’s character Joanne.

“Obviously, I am a huge fan of the show for many reasons, but I’ve been so lucky to get to know everybody involved, … [and they’ve all] been so kind and welcoming,” the Gossip Girl star told PEOPLE. “I was really taken by everybody’s kindness and their talent, and how that whole show came together.”

Both alums of iconic teen dramas, Meester and Brody have been together since 2013, when they first went public with their relationship. The couple married the following year and have since welcomed two children together. They welcomed daughter Arlo in 2015 and a son, whose name has not been publicly revealed, in 2020.

Nobody Wants This‘s season two will mark the first time that Meester and Brody will appear in a television series together.

The second season of Nobody Wants This is set to debut on Netflix on October 23.
