David Beckham Playfully Pokes Fun at Wife Victoria’s Lack of Cooking Skills During Playful Kitchen Moment: ‘Stay Away’

David Beckham playfully roasted wife Victoria Beckham while he cooked a Sunday dinner — and she took it in stride.

The Spice Girls alum, 51, filmed the former soccer star, 50, while he prepared a family meal, sharing the footage on her Instagram Stories on Sunday, Oct. 19.

“’I am doing a Sunday roast for when our parents arrive in a few hours, which they should be very excited about,” David says at the start of a first video.

As Victoria asks him if he needs any help, her husband deadpans, “From who?” prompting her to offer her services, to which David replies, “Absolutely not. Stay away!”

“What do you mean, just stay away?” Victoria asks her husband, laughing.

“Darling, we are not making a ham and cheese toasty,” he then shoots back, referring to the simple sandwich.

Still, David made it clear he was just having fun, adding a sweet, “We love you.”

In a next video — captioned, “The parents have arrived!!” — David takes a shot as he vigorously whisks Yorkshire pudding batter.

“Do you want another one?” Victoria asks him, referring to the alcohol, to which he responds with an enthusiastic, “Yes, please!”

The singer-turned-designer also shared a family photo featuring their parents, as well as one with their daughter Harper, 14, enjoying the meal at a large dining room table.

“We love you all!!!” Victoria captioned the post, adding a heart emoji.

The mom of four opened up about her husband’s love of cooking, and how he specifically is always the one to prepare their Christmas dinner while she mans the beverages. 

“I do not do the cooking, I prepare the drinks,” Victoria said during a 2024 episode of Hoda & Jenna. 

“I’ll be the bartender — someone’s got to do it,” she continued, adding, “David will be doing the cooking. He’s actually a really good cook. He loves the whole prep.”

Earlier that year, the entrepreneur told Telegraph she actively avoids stress by not cooking. 

“Harper says I can burn water, so it’s probably better for everyone that I don’t [cook],” she jokingly told the outlet at the time.
