Tineke “Tini” Younger is mourning the death of her unborn child.

The popular TikTok chef recently took to social media to announce that one of her twin daughters, Arya, tragically passed away just a few weeks before her expected delivery.

“This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A),” Younger, 24, shared in an emotional post to Facebook and TikTok on Wednesday night.

“We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl,” she continued.

After sharing the heartbreaking news, Younger confirmed that her other unborn daughter is “doing really good” and “breathing on her own” in the wake of the influencer’s placenta abruption.

“They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister,” she said.

Younger, who has amassed more than 10 million combined followers on TikTok and Instagram, went on to announce that she will be stepping away from her channels as she grieves Arya’s passing.

“I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back,” she concluded. “I love you guys.”

Younger’s devastating post included several black-and-white photos of her and her husband, Antoine Wright Jr., holding their late daughter at the hospital.

A placental abruption is an “uncommon yet serious” pregnancy complication that occurs when “the placenta partly or completely separates from the inner wall of the uterus before delivery,” according to the Mayo Clinic.

The issue can decrease or completely block the baby’s oxygen supply and nutrients, per the clinic, as well as result in heavy bleeding in the mother.

Younger announced that she was pregnant with twins in June, and later learned that she and her husband were expecting twin daughters during a gender reveal celebration one month later.

But the TikTok chef’s pregnancy didn’t stop her from cooking, and she opened up about how she planned to prepare for Thanksgiving despite her baby bump during a chat with People ahead of the holiday.

“I’m just going to bring a chair with me,” the influencer told the outlet last month. “I already have a little kitchen stool, but [Thanksgiving] is my thing, especially around the holidays for content, everyone comes to my page for recipes.”

“I’m going to push through,” Younger added. “Just sit on my chair because that’s my main thing.”
