Cynthia Erivo carries supersized Hermès Birkin 50 in New York City

Cynthia Erivo’s beige Birkin bag is defying gravity.

But it’s not just any Hermès Birkin. The singer was spotted carrying a Birkin so large that we can’t imagine what it holds.

We did try, though…

Could it be her signature pointy Elphaba hat? A spare pair (or several!) of those insane platform heels she loves? Or maybe even her “Wicked” other half: tiny co-star Ariana Grande.

In many ways, Erivo’s latest look is the epitome of her personal style.

She’s unapologetic, larger than life, and, while she certainly knows how to slay in couture on a red carpet, she can also rock a pair of jeans or a simple slip dress with ease.

Erivo was spotted in New York City on Monday wearing a pair of cuffed wide-leg jeans, a gray cashmere cardigan, an oversized brown leather jacket and pointed-toe black heels.

She stacked her jewelry with effortless style, layering a collection of necklaces, earrings and rings with mixed metals and gemstones.

However, it was a ginormous beige Hermès Birkin 50 with palladium hardware that caught our attention. Hanging from the crook of her arm, the bag spanned from her waist to her knees.

The bag measures almost 21 inches from base to top of handles, totalling over one-third of Erivo’s height, sans heels.

Though the five-foot-tall performer toted the designer accessory around with ease, it seemed quite full in silhouette — in other words, the bag wasn’t an empty, ludicrously capacious statement-maker.

While Hermès doesn’t publicly list the price of new Birkin bags (they vary by leather and hardware style, regardless), 1stDibs currently lists a vintage Birkin 50, similar to Erivo’s, for close to $34,000.

It is, of course, the largest Birkin bag that the design house makes.

But who needs a witch’s broom — or even Toto’s wicker basket — when you could travel by designer bag?

We’re secretly hoping Erivo’s two petite pups, Caleb and Gigi, travel by Birkin.
