Who Is Rebecca Loos? Meet the Beckham Family’s Former Personal Assistant Who Is Defending Brooklyn

Rebecca Loos was once close with the Beckham family.

In 2003, Loos was hired as an assistant for David Beckham. However, her tenure with the family didn’t last long as she was terminated a few months later. After departing ways from the Beckham family, Loos claimed she and David, who has been married to wife Victoria Beckham since 1999, had an affair. David, for his part, denied the allegations.

“The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids,” David said in a statement to The Guardian at the time. “There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”

Loos has found herself in the headlines again recently after she weighed in on the drama going on between David and Victoria and their son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham. (Brooklyn shared he was estranged from his parents and claimed that Victoria behaved “inappropriately” at his and Nicola’s wedding.)

“I think any other mother would’ve read the room,” Loos said in a teaser clip from the upcoming documentary The Beckham Feud: Truth and Lies. “Brooklyn is basically confirming inauthentic relationships, value of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it’s all focused on brand Beckham, and that that’s all that matters.”

Loos shared that her situation with the family was similar to what Brooklyn claimed to have experienced.

“Suddenly you’re part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is of course validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago,” Loos said.
