Kyle Richards Says Filming ‘Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th’ Has Been ‘Exhausting’

Kyle Richards teased what fans can expect when The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th hits Bravo later this year.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is one of seven iconic Housewives taking part in the new series to celebrate 20 years of the hit franchise. The franchise kicked off in 2006 with The Real Housewives of Orange County, which was quickly followed up with expansions into New York City, Atlanta, New Jersey and Salt Lake City, to name just a few.

“This is the most exhausting thing, and I’m not even being dramatic. I don’t even know how I can form a sentence today,” Kyle, 57, said during her appearance on the Thursday, January 29, episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

“The shouting, the talking over each other … these personalities, so many different personalities all together. I’ve had roommates. I’ve watched big fights from other cities [and been] in the middle of them,” she continued.

Kyle teased, “There are no words. The fans are going to lose their marbles over this.”

Joining Kyle on the Bravo series are The Real Housewives of Orange County’s Vicki Gunvalson, The Real Housewives of New York City’s Luann de Lesseps, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Porsha Williams, The Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Teresa Giudice, The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Gizelle Bryant and The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s Lisa Barlow. The show will also feature guest appearances from Housewives favorites from over the years, including the return of Real Housewives of Atlanta icon NeNe Leakes.

Executive producer Andy Cohen confirmed NeNe’s return to Bravo after a six-year absence earlier in January on his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy.”

“She’s gonna be making an appearance,” Andy said. “When we go to Atlanta, she’s going [to] be there. People are happy about it. We are going to be celebrating 20 years of Housewives, and it would be hard without her. I’m happy about it.”

Andy announced the core cast on WWHL in mid-January, with Bravo describing in a press release that, “In this special event series, the Housewives make their way through some of the most memorable locations in the franchise’s history — from Orange County where it all began to Beverly Hills, Atlanta, Miami and New York City. Starting where it all began in Orange County and culminating in an epic east coast grand finale, each stop will feature appearances by fan favorites from different cities to pay tribute to the past, embrace the present and look toward the many miles still ahead.”

“Along the way, viewers can expect nostalgic reunions, heartfelt revelations, effortless humor, and the larger-than-life dynamics that only Housewives can deliver,” the network said.

“For two decades, The Real Housewives has amplified women’s voices, spotlighted their ambition, humor and strength, inspiring millions with their unapologetic authenticity,” Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo and Peacock Unscripted, said in a statement. “The Real Housewives: Ultimate Road Trip is a love letter to the women who turned a reality television show into a cultural phenomenon — and the fans who’ve been there for every laugh, gasp, toast and table turn.”
