Tori Spelling living in ‘borderline hoarder’ house after Dean McDermott split, podcast co-host says

Tori Spelling’s house is at a “borderline hoarder” level, according to her podcast co-host Amy Sugarman.

The two candidly discussed the state of Spelling’s home during Friday’s episode of “misSPELLING.” Spelling shared that she suffered an illness that debilitated her for eight weeks that forced her to stop working, and Sugarman bluntly told her that her “disorganized” lifestyle was a factor to why the 52-year-old actress frequently gets sick.

Sugarman informed Spelling her home was “messy” and that she had an “extreme” issue with getting rid of things.

Spelling admitted that she was overwhelmed with caring for her five kids with ex-husband Dean McDermott. After admitting that her living room had turned into her “gifting suite,” Sugarman asked her to take a picture of it and to send it to her.

Sugarman was alarmed when she saw the picture.

“Tori, this is not good,” she said, noting Spelling’s Christmas tree was still up.

“You can see the bones in here, like the shelves could be really pretty, the living room could be really pretty. You have beautiful things,” Sugarman continued. “You can’t even sit in there.”

“Like, it’s borderline hoarder, I’m not gonna lie.”

Selling acknowledged, “Yeah, it’s all just sitting here in piles.”

Sugarman said Spelling had “400 stacks of s–t in the house right now.”

“This seems to like, really be a problem,” she stressed.

Spelling insisted that the living room was the worst part of the house, but admitted she would not take a meeting at her home if the president of iHeartRadio asked.

“I stopped having people over,” the “Beverly Hills, 90210” alum said.

Spelling shared that when she and McDermott were married and living together, the house was “presentable” because “he wouldn’t live like that.” She also said at that time, she had help.

Sugarman told her, “I do think you need help. This is like, chaos. … I think it all contributes to why you could not work for two months.”

Spelling and McDermott, 59, share kids Liam, 18, Stella, 17, Hattie, 14, Finn, 13, and Beau, 8. They split in June 2023 after almost 18 years of marriage.

The final judgment in their divorce revealed back in November that they owe more than $1.7 million in unpaid federal and state taxes.
