Denise Richards’ ex Aaron Phypers asks judge to order immediate spousal support
Denise Richards’ ex, Aaron Phypers, is asking that the actress immediately pay him spousal support as their contentious divorce rages on.
In documents obtained by Page Six on Friday, the actor claims he lacks “stable income” due to his “business operations and infrastructure” being “disrupted in late 2024.”
He also argues that, despite a dramatic domestic violence arrest in court in October, and a pending criminal case, he has a right to temporary spousal support in order to maintain a “status quo” of “financial fairness during litigation.”
In the docs filed in Los Angeles on Thursday, Phypers asserted that “temporary support focuses primarily on need and ability to pay, not final fault determinations or ultimate property division” and therefore the court is obligated to “ensure equitable interim conditions” by ordering Richards to pay.
Phypers — who has repeatedly denied Richards’ claims of domestic abuse — also stated that he’s entered a plea of not guilty in the pending criminal case against him and emphasized that “there has been no criminal conviction.”
Additionally, he claims he has a right to “50% compensation” from Richards’ OnlyFans venture, which he previously claimed brings in up to $300,000 per month.
“She is literally making money every single month from my intellectual property in the form of the photographs that I took of her that she has posted on her OnlyFans page,” documents read.
Phypers went on to claim that he expected to be paid for his role on her Bravo reality show, “Denise Richards & Her Wild Things,” but has never been compensated.
“I was supposed to receive 50% of the production income received by Smoke & Mirrors Entertainment, LLC, for that show and instead, I have not received any of the production profits, nor any accounting for what the company received for that show,” he alleges.
Reps for Richards and Phypers did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment on Friday.
In January, Richards asked a judge to deny Phypers’ requests for half of her OnlyFans earnings, citing a missed deadline for an updated income and expense declaration.
In documents filed in October 2025, Phypers previously claimed he “helped [Richards] to build her OnlyFans account” and that he holds “the intellectual property rights to most, if not all, of the pictures that are in use on her page.”
Phypers further claimed that the “Wild Things” star has “cut [him] off from accessing that joint income that we earned together.”
He claimed at the time that he was “out of money and financially desparate [sic],” after rent and other expenses piled up.
Richards (who had already moved out of their rental home) and Phypers were subsequently evicted from the Calabasas residence in December over $84,000 in unpaid rent.
In January, Phypers’ family members launched a since-deleted fundraiser on GoFundMe in January — an effort the “Starship Troopers” actress labeled “outrageous.”
The former couple, who tied the knot in 2018 and split in 2025, have been embroiled in a contentious divorce that saw the “RHOBH” alum obtaining a permanent restraining order against her ex in November — he is still facing criminal charges in the case.
