‘RHOC’ alum Meghan King accuses ex Jim Edmonds of leaking her phone number to sex workers
Meghan King reportedly claimed ex-husband Jim Edmonds leaked her cell phone numbers to sex workers — with the intent to harass her — years ago.
The “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum mentioned the alleged incident to police while discussing phone threats she’d recently received from an unknown caller, according to TMZ.
Per the outlet, a Kirkwood, Mo., police department report says the reality TV star appeared in person in September 2025 to report what she claimed were harassing calls, during which an alleged caller threatened to harm her and her children that she shares with the ex-MLB star.
According to TMZ, the calls had taken place for a couple of months prior, but had become “increasingly worse” in the two days leading up to her visit to the police station — claiming the caller had made “crazed overt threats” toward her.
Per TMZ, she claimed she blocked the number after engaging with the unknown person — but they simply used different numbers to continue contacting her.
Cops listened to voicemails left by the alleged caller — one of which stated the Bravolebrity would “go to jail.” They also allegedly threatened “grabbing, hurting, and killing” the reality personality and her kids.
“The suspect speaks calmly at times and quickly at others, using frequently-repeated phrases or details in a rambling and erratic manner,” the report noted.
Per the outlet, she also alleged to authorities that Edmonds was “losing his mind” amid their volatile custody battle over daughter Aspen, 9, and twin sons Hart and Hayes, 7.
According to the report, King was asked if she thought the athlete had anything to do with the call, and she mentioned the custody dispute but noted that she didn’t know.
King claimed Edmonds had engaged in harassment via third parties in the past, and alleged he had given out her cell number to sex workers a few years back, according to TMZ, “with instructions to harass her.”
She subsequently claimed, per the report, that following what she called “an overwhelming wave of phone calls and texts,” she then received a text message “from a number not known to her, which included a photo of the text sent by [Jim] containing instructions to harass her.”
An investigation into the harassing texts and calls was launched. “Due to the nature of the threats, a department-wide email was sent requesting a close patrol of [Meghan’s] residence,” the report read, per TMZ.
A rep for Edmonds, however, told TMZ that King’s claim is “absurd.”
“This is the first anyone is hearing of this, and it’s absurd,” Steve Honig told the outlet. “Jim is spending his time in Tennessee raising his kids and doesn’t have time for such nonsense.”
Reps for Edmonds and King did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment on Saturday.
The former couple — who finalized their divorce in 2021 — has been embroiled in an ongoing custody battle over their three children.
The model, 41, temporarily lost custody of their children in November 2025 after allegedly administering unprescribed ADHD medication to Hayes, as well as asking a school nurse to do so. An insider told Page Six at the time that Hayes had not been diagnosed with ADHD.
A source told us that Jim and his current wife, Kortnie Edmonds, flew from their home in Tennessee to the kids in Missouri after allegedly receiving a call from Child Protective Services.
Amid the escalating dispute, King was granted supervised visits with their children twice a week.
Prior to a scheduled hearing in December, the former couple reached a custody agreement. “The custody hearing has been called off, and both sides have reached an agreement that is in the best interests of the children,” Honig told Page Six in December.
Under the agreement, King will see the children “a few weeks every summer,” Page Six confirmed at the time, while a source told Us Weekly that King agreed to allow their three children to reside with Edmonds in Tennessee full time.
The TV star shared a meme to her Instagram Stories on Dec. 23 with a cryptic message about her year. “It was a tough year, but at least I did not buy a Labubu,” the meme read.
She added atop the upload, “Butttttt a bunch of ‘super-rare’ stuff happened [just saying] 🤷♀️.”
