Chris Evans and his wife, Alba Baptista, made a rare red carpet appearance at the 2026 Academy Awards mere months after welcoming their first child.

The couple, whose baby girl was born in October 2025, attended their first Oscars together on Sunday in Los Angeles.

They appeared madly in love as they posed for photos.

The actor, 44, and the actress, 28, looked effortlessly chic in complementary ensembles — and not the least bit sleep-deprived.

Evans sported a trendy black tuxedo with a crisp white shirt and an elegant black bow tie, completing his look with cool sunglasses.

Baptista, for her part, stunned in an off-the-shoulder, figure-hugging shimmery champagne gown.

She accessorized with a statement necklace and stud earrings, opting for sleek hair and clean makeup.

During the ceremony, Evans presented the award for best screenplay.

The “Captain America” star and the Portugal native quietly expanded their family on Oct. 24 when daughter Alma Grace entered the world.

The bundle of joy was born in Massachusetts, where Evans and Baptista live.

“Chris is completely in awe of his daughter,” a source told People days after Alma’s arrival.

“He’s been soaking in every quiet moment and couldn’t be more proud to be a girl dad.”

Though the pair never made a formal announcement, fans speculated they were expecting after Baptista’s dad, Luiz Baptista, responded to an Instagram fan account’s post wishing him and Evans’ dad, G. Roberts Evans III, a happy Father’s Day.

“Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming! 🥰, ” Luiz commented at the time.

Notably, Chris told Access Hollywood in November 2024 that he “absolutely” wanted to have children.

“I hope so,” he said of becoming a father one day. “The title of dad is an exciting one.”

He and Alba tied the knot in an intimate, at-home wedding in September 2023, going on to enjoy a second and equally private ceremony in Portugal.

While it remains unclear exactly when Chris began dating the “Warrior Nun” star, they reportedly started their romance sometime in 2021.
