Jerry O’Connell Jokes Wife Rebecca Romijn Only Gets Intimate With Him When She’s High

Jerry O’Connell is opening up about his love life with Rebecca Romijn in a blazing new confession.

O’Connell, 52, joined Bill Maher on the Monday, March 16, episode of the comedian’s “Club Random” podcast and had one simple request for his host, who has a penchant for smoking marijuana in the recording studio.

“I want you to get higher than you’ve ever been on any episode. I want you to blow it in my face,” the actor and television host asked Maher, 70.

Maher responded that he’d be “happy” to blow smoke in O’Connell’s face and asked him whether he partakes in smoking himself.

“I don’t smoke myself, but listen, I live with someone who smokes — vapes, actually,” he said, referring to his wife, Romijn, 53.

The Stand by Me actor went on to quip, “The only time my wife finds me appealing, is intimate with me … the only time my wife — what’s the word? — touches me is if my wife takes a hit off that pen.”

Later, Maher asked O’Connell if he was a “health nut,” prompting the Sliders alum to reveal that he often indulges in processed food and takeout.

“I’m getting this picture: A guy doesn’t get laid unless his wife is high, he’s always on Instagram, eating s***** food.”

“Well, my wife gets high every day, so don’t worry about me!” O’Connell jokingly clapped back.

O’Connell and Romijn have been married since July 2007, following her divorce from John Stamos, and are parents to twin daughters Dolly and Charlie, 17.

The couple previously shared how they “keep our money completely separate” during a July 2025 appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM radio show.

O’Connell and Romijn said they have a “community pot” for family expenses that they add to quarterly, however, they largely cover their own individual expenses.

“That’s like one of the first conversations you have when you decide to enter into a legal agreement together,” Romijn said of their agreement.

As for their family fund, how much they add to the pot depends on which of them is earning more in any given quarter.

“I have to say, we actually throttle how much money we put into that account sometimes,” O’Connell shared, while Romijn added, “Depending on who’s working more.”

She continued, “The one who’s not working gets a little bit of a break and the one who is working puts in a little more. And we really tag-team with work.”

When it comes to their busy work schedules and parenting, “We also decided when our girls were born that one of us would always stay home with our daughters,” the actress said. “So, no one else was ever going to raise them besides the parents.”
