Sofia Richie reacts to ex Justin Bieber, Hailey’s pregnancy news

Sofia Richie is over the moon that her ex Justin Bieber and his wife, Hailey Bieber, are expecting their first child.

“Ahh!! Congratulations 🥹💕😍,” the fashionista commented on Hailey’s Instagram announcement Thursday, which showed the mom-to-be, 27, wearing a lace Saint Laurent dress while renewing her vows with the pop star in Hawaii.

Richie, 25, dated Justin, 30, for a few months in 2016 after he had a fling with Hailey.

“We have a special relationship,” the model told Billboard of her romance with the “Baby” singer at the time. “Justin is very easy to talk to, and that’s hard to find with people in Los Angeles.”

Justin caught a lot of flack for sharing photos with Richie on social media at the time, forcing him to temporarily delete his Instagram.

“I’m gonna make my Instagram private if you guys can’t stop the hate,” he warned his followers. “This is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldn’t be so mean to people that I like.”

The “Sorry” crooner’s on-again, off-again girlfriend Selena Gomez then got involved by chiming in, “If you can’t handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol — it should be special between you two only.

“Don’t be mad at your fans. They love you.”

However, Justin and Richie’s dalliance was short-lived, as they split after just six weeks together.

The “Love Yourself” singer and the daughter of Lionel Richie have since found their forever partners.

After dating Scott Disick for nearly three years, Sofia went on to tie the knot with British music executive Elliot Grainge in a star-studded wedding in France in April 2023. The couple is expecting their first child.

Justin, for his part, rekindled his romance with Hailey in July 2018, and they secretly married that September.

The pair then had a more formal wedding ceremony in September 2019 in front of family and friends in South Carolina.

Now that Justin and Hailey are having a baby, several people — aside from Sofia — have flooded the expectant parents with well-wishes, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Gigi Hadid, the Kardashians and more.

Justin’s mom, Pattie Mallette, also gushed on Instagram, “I have been waiting for this day and now that they have shared it I can finally celebrate with ya’ll. Oh my gosh, I’m going to be a grandma.”
