Taylor Frankie Paul returns to Instagram following ‘Bachelorette’ cancellation, domestic violence investigation
Taylor Frankie Paul is officially posting on Instagram again — following her ax from “The Bachelorette” and accusations of domestic violence.
The “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star shared a clip of herself playing the piano over the weekend, shielding her face and hair with a light gray hoodie pulled up over her head.
“I was just playing around and found I kinda like this,” Paul, 31, wrote atop the clip, adding in the caption, “I learned this today for no reason. I think I have a real future in piano.”
The reality TV star’s fans quickly flocked to the comments section to share their support.
“One day at a time, Taylor. Keep praying and believing,” one wrote, with another adding, “You got this 🤍.”
Rounding out the sweet messages, another social media user noted, “This is so beautiful!! You are worthy of love and kindness!!!”
However, others weren’t as supportive, with some calling out those siding with Paul.
“People defending her is so wild lol,” one person wrote, as a second argued, “She should be in jail.”
Following her weekend feed post, Paul returned to her Instagram Stories Monday with a sweet gesture she received from a Starbucks employee who wrote “You are Loved” on her iced coffee cup.
“Didn’t want to leave my house today and they said today is on us,” she wrote over the photo, with a crying face emoji.
Paul’s social media return comes a week after Utah police revealed they are investigating allegations of a third domestic violence incident between the former “Bachelorette” and her ex Dakota Mortensen.
“The West Jordan Police Department is currently investigating an incident involving Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen,” a spokesperson for the department told Page Six at the time.
“The allegations were reported at the end of February 2026, and detectives have reviewed video believed to have been recorded in early to mid-2024,” the statement continued. “Investigators are actively working to gather and verify information and are in the process of interviewing those involved. At this time, no charges have been filed, as the investigation remains ongoing.”
Earlier this month, a disturbing video from 2023 of Paul attacking Mortensen — while her eldest daughter, Indy, was in the room — was released online.
In the clip, the reality TV star tried to kick her now-ex and threw metal barstools at him.
After the video surfaced, Pauls’ rep said in a statement that the video “conveniently omits context” and Mortensen’s “never-ending, desperate, attention-seeking, destructive campaign to harm Taylor without any regard for the consequences for their child.”
Mortensen, meanwhile, denied his ex’s allegations, saying, “I am focusing on our son [Ever] and his safety, and hope that Taylor will do the same.”
Following the footage being released, ABC also canceled Paul’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
Meanwhile, filming of “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Season 5 had already been halted.
Mortensen has since filed for a restraining order against Paul, alleging that she choked him last month in the presence of their son, Ever. He has since been granted temporary custody of the two-year-old.
