Cardi B reveals wild reason she screamed at Stefon Diggs outside coffee shop

Cardi B blamed her explosive argument with Stefon Diggs on being a little hangry.

After the video of their confrontation went viral, the “WAP” rapper took to X to explain why everything went down.

“Sometimes I forget I’m a celebrity,” she tweeted, “damn y’all ain’t never cuss your babydad out when you hungry?”

Cardi’s explanation came moments after TMZ shared a video of the on-again, off-again couple arguing outside a coffee shop in Burtonsville, Maryland, on Wednesday afternoon.

In the clip, the Grammy winner, 33, appeared to be pretty animated as she yelled at Diggs, who stood there with a relaxed demeanor.

The former New England Patriots player, 32, leaned against a car with his arms folded as Cardi — born Belcalis Almánzar — approached him.

A source told TMZ that the “Bodak Yellow” emcee was overheard yelling, “that bitch is messy,” at Diggs during the 10-minute showdown.

The outlet also published photos of the duo continuing to argue while Cardi sat outside the venue.

The altercation came two days after reports surfaced that Cardi was giving the wide receiver “another shot” in their relationship.

“She is giving him a second chance but is not fully committing to him,” a source told Us Weekly Monday.

The insider said the Grow-Good co-founder is “slowly letting” Diggs “back in.”

“They’ve been in closer contact lately. Things are no longer contentious,” the source added.

“She still has love for Stefon, which makes it difficult to walk away.”

Over the weekend, Cardi and Diggs packed PDA during the athlete’s Mother’s Day wellness event Saturday.

Per clips shared online, the NFL free agent was seen kissing Cardi on the cheek as he affectionately wrapped his arm around her waist.

The “I Like It” rapper and Diggs split ahead of his team competing in Super Bowl 2026 in February because Cardi reportedly “couldn’t trust him.”

The couple shares a son, who they welcomed in November 2025.

Diggs also shares five other kids — four of whom were born in 2025.

Cardi is also a mom to three kids — Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1 — whom she shares with her estranged husband, Offset (born Kiara Cephus).
