Beartooth rocker Caleb Shomo and wife of 14 years file for divorce after he comes out as gay

Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo and his wife of more than 14 years, Fleur Shomo, are legally going their separate ways nearly two months after he came out as gay.

Page Six can exclusively reveal that the now-former couple jointly filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court earlier this week.

They do not share any children.

The metalcore rocker, who wed Fleur in April 2012, revealed that he is “a proudly gay man” in a vulnerable statement posted on Instagram on May 23.

Despite feeling “hurt” and “disoriented” by her newly estranged husband’s revelation, Fleur publicly vowed to “love and support” him — and asked his fans to do the same.

“Sending love and support 💪 His statement is powerful,” one of whom subsequently posted on X.

“I’m so proud of Caleb Shomo,” added another X user who emphasized “how hard it can be to come to terms with being queer.”

Someone else stressed that “it is never too late to come out as gay” and marveled, “His wife’s mindset is truly respectable.”

Many critics were quick to condemn the singer-songwriter, 33, for “wasting” Fleur’s time, but as one defender argued, “Any gay individual coming out after 14 years of straight marriage in our homomisic, cisheteronormative society is not inherently an abuser that wasted years of their partner’s life.”
