Tom Segura’s estranged wife, Christina Pazsitzky, breaks silence on split
Tom Segura’s estranged wife, Christina Pazsitzky, has broken her silence on the couple’s separation.
On Saturday, Pazsitzky, 50, posted a message on her Instagram Stories, directing it to the “Mommies” — a name given to fans of her and Segura’s podcast, “Your Mom’s House.”
“Thank you for all the kind messages,” the comedian wrote. “This is a really difficult time for our family.”
She also explained that episodes of their podcast “are pre-recorded in advance — hence no mention of recent events,” before concluding, “Just know your mommy love you and will see you very soon.”
Earlier this month, it was revealed that she and Segura, 47, who have been married for 18 years, separated within the last couple of months, but are “completely amicable.”
They share two sons — Ellis and Julian — who were born in 2016 and 2018, respectively, and co-founded the podcast network YMH Studios. They also co-host their popular podcast, “Your Mom’s House,” which debuted in 2012.
Segura had earlier hinted that his marriage might be on the rocks when he ditched his wedding ring during a July 13 episode of his “2 Bears, 1 Cave” podcast that he co-hosts with pal Bert Kreischer.
The pair will reportedly continue to co-host “Your Mom’s House,” despite their split.
However, the couple has not done a podcast episode together since late April.
The couple has long joked about their marriage on their podcast and on stage.
Pazsitzky, who is also a makeup entrepreneur, said in her 2017 Netflix special, “Mother Inferior,” “I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s fantastic. And then all day, every day, I wanna punch him in his dumb face.”
Back in 2019, Segura joked that the key to his marriage was “intimidation and fear.”
“They had a special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids,” an insider told TMZ, referencing their sons.
“They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children.”
