Jennifer Garner and daughter Violet Affleck step out for lunch
Jennifer Garner and Violet Affleck looked like twins while stepping out for a casual lunch on Friday.
The mother-daughter duo was pictured walking side-by-side during the outing, with Violet, 20, wearing a flowing floral sundress with sneakers, and Garner, 54, rocking a red floral top and denim miniskirt with sandals.
Violet carried a bright blue handbag, while Garner — who also appeared to accessorize with a smart watch — toted a shopping bag and a cell phone. At one point, they carried beverages while walking.
The “Alias” star and her eldest child smiled, showing off their mirror-image looks for photographers as they happily chatted.
The “13 Going on 30” actress also shares kids Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13, with ex-husband Ben Affleck, from whom she split in 2015 before finalizing their divorce in 2018.
The mom of three has long been known for her commitment to parenting her children with the “Gone Girl” star, 53.
In May, the former couple was spotted teaming up to take Violet to an urgent care visit, with the Yale University student leaning on both her parents for support while limping into the building. Violet later emerged from the medical facility on crutches.
Garner recently admitted in an interview with InStyle that parenting isn’t about perfection — and offered up words of wisdom on motherhood.
“You have to raise yourself at the same time,” she told the outlet of bringing up her children. “And just be so radically kind to yourself about how imperfect it is.”
She added, “And that it is just going to be imperfect.”
The “Juno” star explained further that there is “no such thing as balance.”
“There’s no such thing as doing it right,” she continued. “And when the big moments happen, you are okay, and that’s on you to know and understand so your child feels your okayness.”
Despite their divorce, Affleck and Garner have continued an exceptionally friendly co-parenting dynamic, with Garner recently telling Entertainment Weekly that Ben “has become this incredible co-parent.”
“He takes care of them,” she said elsewhere in the interview. “He’s a great partner in that way. And so that’s very freeing.”
