Sharon Osbourne requests late husband Ozzy’s accountant’s removal as will executor
Sharon Osbourne wants to remove her late husband Ozzy Osbourne’s long-term accountant as an executor of the rocker’s estimated $100 million fortune.
The former “X Factor UK” judge filed documents on Tuesday with the High Court of Justice in England to remove Colin Newman, according to the Sun.
Sharon’s niece Georgina Maszlin and her assistant, Melinda Varga, are also requesting Newman’s removal.
The reason for their bid is currently unknown, and it is also unclear if Newman is contesting the application.
Page Six has reached out to Sharon’s rep for comment.
Newman, notably, has been the couple’s accountant since before they married in 1982. He first met Sharon while working as a junior accountant for her father, music manager Don Arden.
Newman was also a director of Ozzy’s main UK firm, Monowise Ltd, for years before quitting in April, per the outlet.
After he stepped down, Sharon was appointed as director. Newman, 79, also acted as Sharon’s literary agent.
He is credited on several of the Black Sabbath frontman’s albums, and the two were long-term friends.
The move comes months after the first anniversary of Ozzy’s death. In July, Sharon, 73, reflected on her late husband’s life and legacy in honor of the observance.
“As Ozzy would say, ‘When you want to remember me, just yank up the music really loud, as loud as you can get it, and just head bang,’” she recalled in an interview with the BBC.
She gushed that Ozzy (real name: John Michael Osbourne) “was authentic” and “never tried to be anything other than what he was.”
“He was just genuine, so genuine and funny,” the former reality star added. “I mean, we could have the worst arguments in the world but we would end up laughing because he would say something so ridiculous that we would just crack up.”
The rockstar died on July 22, 2025, at the age of 76 after suffering from a heart attack.
He and Sharon were married for 43 years and share three children: Aimee, Kelly and Jack.
Ozzy also welcomed three kids — Elliot, Jessica, and Louis — with his first wife, Thelma Riley.
