Ariana Grande to continue working with Scooter Braun months after dropping him as manager

Ariana Grande will continue working with Scooter Braun and his entertainment company Hybe — less than one year after she reportedly dropped him as her manager.

In a statement on Wednesday, reps for the “We Can’t Be Friends” hitmaker announced that her partnership with Braun is back on.

“Ariana Grande and HYBE, led by CEO Scooter Braun, look forward to continuing their long-standing business partnership and pursuing creative opportunities in Weverse and REM Beauty,” Braun, 42, wrote on Instagram via his marketing company SB Projects’ page.

“Grande in this new chapter will continue to be managed exclusively by Brandon Creed/Good World Management.”

While Hybe will not be involved in Grande’s music ventures, the company will work with her to promote her makeup brand R.E.M. Beauty.

The company will also work with Weverse, an artist merchandise platform.

Confirming the news, Braun took to his Instagram Wednesday, writing, “New chapter but always team Ari :).”

Braun, who used to manage Grande during the early years of her music career, was reportedly dropped by the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer last year.

Braun had served as her manager for 10 years before that.

She has since been managed by Brandon Creed after signing on with his Good World Management firm that was launched late last year.

Many artists including Demi Lovato, J Balvin, and Carly Rae Jepsen also cut ties with Braun around the same time Grande distanced herself from the music manager last year.

Grande’s musical career kicked off in 2013 with the release of her debut album, “Yours Truly.” Since then, she has released six more albums.

This sudden exodus from Braun’s management comes after he famously butted heads with Taylor Swift in June 2019 after buying the “All Too Well” singer’s master recordings.

The ongoing feud resulted in Braun selling the masters for more than $300 million in 2020 and Swift, 34, vowing to re-record her first six albums — which she has already begun to deliver on.

Soon after Braun’s purchase, Swift herself slammed Braun for the purchase, saying that she was “grossed out” by it.

In September 2022, Braun spoke out about the “important lesson” he learned after purchasing Swift’s master recordings.
