Amanda Holden’s daughter, Lexi, is the spitting image of her famous mum in a recent snap she shared of herself in a bikini.
The 18-year old has been sunning herself in the Maldives with her famous family and posed up a storm, sporting a striking teal two-piece as she lay next to an aquamarine sea. Fans were quick to spot the snap was remarkably similar to one Amanda, 52, shared of herself in Sicily in 2022, in which the Britain’s Got Talent judge sizzles while sporting practically identical swimwear to her daughter.
Lexi has shared a number of photos from her exotic holiday, captioning another bikini shot on Instagram, in which she reclines against a palm tree: “Working hard or hardly working?” The celebrity offspring signed to Storm modelling agency in 2022 and is also looking into attending University in America after finishing her A-Levels.
Discussing Lexi’s next steps last year, Amanda told MailOnline: “She’s been taken on by Storm. She’s 17 but I think when she’s 18 we’ll start looking for her to be in that field. At the minute they are working on her Lookbook.”
In an episode of Amanda and Alan’s Italian Job, which aired on BBC One last month, the presenter, who is also mum to daughter, Hollie, 12, spoke of her fears of letting her eldest go. She admitted: “When your children, when they leave home, you only spend a year of your life with them ever again. They say you have 18 summers and then you’re lucky to see them.”
Amanda then held back tears as she added: “It’s so terrible because you wish so much of it away when you’re a busy parent… and then you turn around and they’re not even there.”
The Heart FM presenter has certainly been making the most of her two girls still being at home as she enjoyed her family holiday in the Maldives. “We had a lovely family holiday @luxsouthari staff just lovely and food was beyond…” she wrote as she shared a photo dump on Instagram.
Among some mouthwatering snaps of fancy food and sun-kissed beaches, Amanda also treated her fans to plenty of snaps in her bikinis. However, the presenter will soon be back to the unpredictable British weather as she is due back on the radio on Monday morning.
During her show last year, she discussed the possibility of Lexi appearing on Love Island. Addressing suggestions her daughter would be a good fit for the ITV2 reality show, in the wake of other celebrity offspring, including Gemma Owen and Belle Hassan chancing their arm in the villa, she stated: “No! Absolutely not. No way, my daughter’s 18 next year. It’s just another way of being famous, isn’t it really? It’s not really about love. It’s just about looking hot and just getting involved.”
