Billionaire John Paulson, 68, and fiancée Alina de Almeida, 36, are expecting their first baby together

Billionaire hedge funder John Paulson’s fiancée Alina de Almeida is pregnant with the couple’s first child, Page Six can exclusively reveal.

“[We are] very excited,” de Almeida tells us. “This is something we had been planning. It wasn’t much of a surprise. We have been together now for three years, and I have always wanted a family, and I know John will make a great father,” she added.

De Almeida also told Page Six, “We just hope the baby is healthy. Boy or girl, we welcome either.”

Paulson, 68, and de Almeida, 36, got engaged in April, we exclusively reported.

The GOP megadonor is still embroiled in a bitter divorce battle with his ex-wife, Jenny. But he and de Almeida hope to tie the knot once the divorce is settled.

“John is just a wonderful partner,” de Almeida tells us. “He brings out the best in me. He pushed me to the next level with my career. He is very supportive, very patient and caring.”

De Almeida — a registered dietician with a degree in Food & Nutrition Sciences — is the founder of health counseling company, Effective Lifestyle.

She says the pair also have a lot in common. “We enjoy the same things,” she tells us. “The same sports, the same movies. Literally everything. We are very happy.”

This will be de Almeida’s first child. Paulson also has two kids from his previous marriage.

The expecting mother says she is feeling great, “I don’t have any symptoms of first trimester pregnancy except feeling wonderful,” says de Almeida. “No nausea, no vomiting… I do yoga in the morning, I bike ride. We are still very social.”

Paulson is worth at least $4.7 billion. The financier reportedly made $20 billion betting against the housing market before the 2008 crash.

He has recently been fundraising for Donald Trump, raising $50 million during an event at his Palm Beach, Calif., home in April.

He split with Jenny after 21 years of marriage, and the exes have been in an ongoing legal war ever since. 

Paulson has previously said: “Unfortunately our marriage didn’t work out. Divorces are common, but difficult. Alina and I are very happy together. I wish Jenny can find happiness, too.”
