Angelina Jolie coordinates with daughter Zahara on the 2025 Golden Globes red carpet

Angelina Jolie is making the red carpet a family affair.

The star hit Golden Globes 2025 red carpet on Sunday night alongside her 19-year-old daughter Zahara Jolie-Pitt, coordinating in dazzling Alexander McQueen gowns.

The 49-year-old actress and bona fide fashion muse looked as spectacular as ever in her metallic look, which featured strings of silver and black metal mesh woven together in a semi-sheer style.

When asked by Variety whether the style statement was comfortable, she simply replied: “More than you think.”

Meanwhile Jolie-Pitt rocked a sleek up-do and opted for a cherry-branch adorned McQueen evening dress ($9,900) while celebrating her mom’s big night.

It’s not the first time she’s joined her famous mother on the red carpet this awards season, as the duo also attended Palm Springs Film Festival Awards together earlier this week.

Jolie landed a Globes nomination for best performance by a female actor in a motion picture drama due to her portrayal of opera legend Maria Callas in “Maria.” This marks her ninth Golden Globes nomination to date.

While promoting the Netflix film, Jolie has not only had a ton of firsts — like her first late night appearance in a decade — but she’s also been paying homage to Callas on the red carpet.

At the Venice Film Festival in August 2024, Jolie wore Callas’ own Cartier jewelry, though she asserted she’s not into the method dressing made popular by Zendaya, Ariana Grande and more this season.

“I chose not to copy [Maria’s] looks because they are hers, and her Venice carpets were stunning, so I gave a little nod to her—in a different way,” she told Vogue at the time, adding, “You can imagine how special it was to wear a piece of jewelry that was hers.”

In an interview with People at the AFI Fest premiere in October, the award-winning actress admits she shares a “certain loneliness” with Callas.

“I don’t want to speak too much about it because it’s too personal, but there’s definitely a loneliness and a work ethic,” Jolie explained.

“I may be many things, but I’m a very hard worker, right?, the mother of six said, adding, “I’m an imperfect person, but I work very hard and she does.”
