Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague have been defended by fans over their most recent family holiday with their daughter Bambi after attracting criticism over the trip.
The couple, both 24, headed to France earlier this month for their latest holiday abroad. They returned to Disneyland Paris with their now 14-month-old daughter Bambi, having previously visited the theme park together in July last year.
Molly-Mae shared some photos from the recent visit on Instagram just a days ago, including content showing her fiancé and their toddler in front of the park’s castle. She also teased over an apparent blunder that Tommy made.
Over the weekend, Tommy himself posted about the holiday and shared a series of photos with his followers. He wrote in the caption that accompanied the post on Sunday: “Family time over anything.” He included a red heart emoji in it.
One photo showed Molly-Mae and Tommy, who met on Love Island in 2019, stood beside each other in front of the castle. She was wearing a white t-shirt and what appeared to be animal print shorts. Tommy instead sported an Indiana Jones branded top, matching hat and a pair of black shorts.
Another showed Tommy holding Bambi as they interacted with a cast member dressed as Snow White. There was also a photo of them on the ride It’s a Small World, as well as a photo of Molly-Mae and their daughter on another ride. Other photos included one of Tommy and Bambi, who had a cuddly toy in her hand, outside another attraction.
The post was met with much reaction from his followers on the platform, including apparent criticism of the couple’s decision to take toddler Bambi to the theme park. Some fans questioned the decision in the comments section.
One person wrote: “Personally, I think it’s pointless taking a baby to Disneyland because they don’t know who any of the characters are yet. At this point, it’s more for the adults than the child.” The comment has received more than 30 likes.
They weren’t alone in expressing that sentiment, with another person having shared a similar comment. Reacting to the Tommy’s post on the platform, the second person said: “Far [too] young to remember those memories.”
A number of people however defended Tommy and Molly-Mae, with some sharing their own experiences. One person wrote: “They can go again in the future … it isn’t always a one time thing.” Another agreed, with them saying amid a discussion: “I’m sure they will go a million more times.”
A third person wrote: “Making memories is for the parents too you know.” Another said: “The magic in taking a baby is the love and joy in the parent.” Someone said: “There is so much for little ones. It’s an amazing sensory experience.”
“When I went to Disneyland with my family, I enjoyed it more than my kids,” one fan reacted. Another said: “Beautiful family. That’s what life is about. Treasured memories.” And someone wrote: “You are such a lovely father Tommy and your family are just beautiful. This is what it’s all about.”
