A$AP Rocky appeared to diss Drake on his new album Don’t Be Dumb.

After dropping his new album on Friday, Jan. 16, listeners noticed the lyrics from the track “Stole Ya Flow” seemed to be pointed at the Canadian rapper, 39.

“First you stole my flow, so I stole yo’ bitch,” the “Punk Rocky” artist, 37, raps on the chorus. “I can’t trust a soul, just my pole and my kids / Swear to never lie, cross my heart, hope to die, uh / Then I sold the switch, then I hit it with a kiss, mwah.”

Later in the song A$AP Rocky adds, “Now I’m a father, my bitch badder than my toddler / My baby mama Rihanna, so we unbothered.”

The lines seems to allude to Drake’s off-and-on relationship with Rihanna over the years before she dated A$AP Rocky.

The Fenty Beauty founder and the Degrassi alum initially sparked romance rumors in 2009, and Drake even professed his love for the “Diamonds” singer at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.

Later, Rihanna, now 37, told Vogue in 2018 that hearing his speech was “uncomfortable.”

“I don’t like too many compliments; I don’t like to be put on blast,” she said, noting that while she and Drake were no longer friends they also weren’t “enemies” either.

Also on “Stole Ya Flow,” A$AP Rocky appears to reference Metro Boomin’s “BBL Drizzy” track, rapping, “N—– gettin’ BBLs / Lucky we don’t body-shame.”

During the Thursday, Jan. 15 episode of the New York Times’ Popcast, the “Sundress” performer was asked about whether “Stole Ya Flow” was about Drake as co-host Joe Coscarelli pointed out that “the internet” would have an opinion.

“I think we all know,” A$AP Rocky replied.

When asked where things went wrong in their relationship, the Highest 2 Lowest star didn’t have a clear answer.

“I don’t know,” said A$AP Rocky. “I started just seeing people who started out as friends and just became foes. Seemed like they was unhappy for you and just started sending shots. I think that’s what led to any of our misunderstandings or whatever the case is.”

When asked by co-host Jon Caramanica if their rift could be “resolvable,” A$AP Rocky declined.

“It don’t even need to be,” the Grammy-nominated rapper said. “Like, for what?”

When pressed again about whether “Stole Ya Flow” is about Drake, A$AP Rocky replied, “It’s for whoever feel like it’s about them.”

A$AP Rocky’s fourth studio album Don’t Be Dumb is out now.
