Aaron Rodgers is out for revenge!

The Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 41, is speaking out after he was tackled to the ground by his teammate Broderick Jones in celebration of his 68-yard touchdown pass in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Oct. 16.

“What you don’t see in the video is right after the throw, he’s coming over to me. He’s shaking me and shaking me,” Rodgers recalled to reporters of the 24-year-old Steelers offensive tackle in an Instagram clip shared by the NFL.

“I text him and say, ‘Hey man, I love your energy. I love everything you’re about. But also, I’m 41, okay? You can’t be out there tackling me like that,’ ” the veteran QB continued of his conversation with Jones.

“But I love Brod,” Rodgers made clear. “We had a couple laughs about it, and you know I told him, ‘I’m getting him next.’ He better watch his back.”

The former Green Bay Packers legend addressed the topic after first making headlines for the less-than-thrilled look on his face after Jones took him to the ground in celebration of his completed touchdown pass thrown to Pat Freiermuth late in the game against the Bengals.

In a now-viral clip, a furious-looking Rodgers gets red in the face after Jones tackled him from behind and caused him to hit the grass. When he got up, the signal caller pushed the tackle away in seeming disgust.

“Oh gosh, don’t tackle me, c’mon!” Amazon Prime commentator Kirk Herbstreit said as a guess at Rodgers’ response to Jones, as footage of the sideline near-skirmish played for viewers.

The touchdown put the Steelers ahead of the Bengals 31-30 late in the matchup. Ultimately, the Bengals won, 33-31.

Earlier this week, Jones opened up about the situation when speaking with reporters, telling them that he’s thinking about tackling Rodgers again.

“We shall see on Sunday after he throws another touchdown,” he said, adding, “I’m gonna tackle him again.”

Jones went on to shed light on his conversation with Rodgers.

“Yeah we’re still joking about it,” he said of his teammate while speaking with the media. “Yeah he was a little mad, but sorry, you know, it’s football, it gets intense.”

It remains to be seen if Rodgers will get more revenge when the Steelers play his former team, the Green Bay Packers, on Oct. 26.
