Alix Earle reveals the one cosmetic procedure she regrets

Alix Earle broke down in tears while revealing the one cosmetic procedure that she wishes she never had.

The influencer confirmed that she regretfully got veneers right after she graduated college in an emotional video posted to TikTok Wednesday.

“I never wanted to post about it because I immediately feel like I regretted it and I never want to influence people to do something that I don’t think they should do,” she explained.

Earle — who revealed that she embarrassingly chipped her front veneer earlier in the day while chatting with Kate Hudson at a party — admitted that she liked the results despite always having good teeth growing up.

The TikToker, 24, recalled knocking her teeth out of place after getting into a bike crash as a kid and using Invisalign to fix her smile.

“They actually looked really good but I never wore the retainer so they ended up shifting a little bit but I always loved my teeth, like I always had really, really good teeth,” she said.

Earle ended up getting composite bonding on her lateral incisors because they were a bit shorter than her two front teeth, but the bonding would constantly “crack off” when she would bite her teeth in her sleep.

After getting a following on the social media app and making some cash, she decided to get veneers on just her lateral incisors.

However, her dentist advised her to get veneers on all six of her front teeth, along with four bottom teeth, to make her smile look cohesive.

“I don’t know why I listened to that because originally that’s not what I wanted,” she said. “So I went in for two teeth and I basically left with 10.”

The SipMargs investor explained that it was an “emotional” topic for her to discuss before her eyes welled up with tears.

“When am I not crying?” she asked, trying to compose herself. “I really regretted it right away and I think it was really scary for me and I was like, ‘What did I just do?’”

Earle acknowledged that she doesn’t regret “a lot” of things but definitely wouldn’t have done the dental surgery if she could go back in time.

“End of the day, whatever, it was my decision but I feel like it was kind of those decisions that was made pretty fast and I just didn’t think it all the way through or talk to enough people,” she said.

Earle, who opened the video by filing down her front tooth that had chipped, also apologized to any of her fans who were upset with her for not admitting to having veneers sooner.

“It’s not that I ever tried to hide it,” she said. “Like, I never said like, ‘Oh I don’t have that.’ I just never came forward and said it because I really, really regretted it and I did not want to influence anyone to do it because I don’t think that you should.

“I think natural teeth are so beautiful,” she continued. If you’re thinking of doing anything to your teeth, this is your sign to not do it and to embrace your natural teeth. I think teeth have so much character, so don’t follow my lead on this one.”

She ended the video by smiling to show her chipped front tooth, admitting that she “really like[s] it.”

“I think it’s fun,” she said.

Earle has been candid about her other beauty procedures, including a breast augmentation.
