All of Katy Perry’s out-of-this-world ‘Lifetimes’ tour outfits: From reinventing the peppermint bra to alien chic

Katy Perry has gone above and beyond with her extravagant “Lifetimes” tour looks.
The “Teenage Dream” singer, 40, kicked off her fifth concert tour in Mexico City on Wednesday, rocking several over-the-top outfits and referencing her Blue Origin space flight earlier this month.
For one space-inspired look, Perry stepped out in a futuristic two-piece ensemble made of multi-colored metal that looked like the inside of a switchboard.
She paired her high-rise bottoms with a long sleeve crop top complete with extra-sharp shoulders over a cone bra top.
Perry completed the look with bright blue hair accents, black thigh-high boots and a double-ended light saber, completing her Darth Maul-inspired look.
The star then channeled her inner “E.T.” by changing into a green bedazzled bodysuit that resembles an alien face with it’s cutouts and exaggerated hips.
She rounded out the outfit with coordinating light green thigh-high boots, all rendered in a lizard skin-like fabric.
Perry may have taken inspiration from her Blue Origin space suit for a third look: a cyborg-esque dark blue metallic suit of armor.
The robotic design features metal legs, heart-shaped bottoms, arms cuffs and a high-neck bra top with a heart cut-out.
Perry paid homage to another iconic past look of hers during the show, wearing a sheer gray latex mini dress complete with peppermint-shaped hip embellishments and a matching peppermint top.
In 2012, the musician embarked on her “California Dreams” tour, where she became known for her a silver dress that included spinning peppermint candies on her chest.
Midway through her stint across the country, however, the candy costume was deemed a hazard by the company that insured Perry’s tour after her hair got caught in the wheels.
Fortunately, Perry’s peppermint bra is now back and better, and she’s paired the look with even sweeter shoes — platform boots made to look like enormous blobs of pink cotton candy.
For her fifth and final look, Perry wore an avant-garde red bodysuit with dozens of dangling baubles of blue gems.
The piece boasts levitating off-the-shoulder “sleeves,” and an ultra-deep neckline going down to her belly button.
She paired the unique design with silver knee-high boots and her classic red lip to match.
While clearly keeping on theme with her futuristic “Lifetimes” album era, Perry also paid homage to her 11-minute trip to space with the all-female Blue Origin crew.
She also addressed backlash against the expedition, taking a selfie on-stage with fans dressed in Nasa costumes and reportedly asking the audience, “Has anyone ever called your dreams crazy?”
With these looks, Perry’s in for another incredible trip around the world.
