Amanda Seyfried was a little perplexed when Timothée Chalamet thanked Kylie Jenner for their “foundation” during his 2026 Critics Choice Awards acceptance speech.

“OH not like a foundation/charity,” Seyfried, 40, wrote in the comments section of Evan Ross Katz’s Sunday, January 4, Instagram post that shared a moment from Chalamet’s shout-out to his girlfriend. “I was curious about that.”

Chalamet, 30, acknowledged Jenner, 28, while accepting the award for Best Actor at the Sunday awards show for his performance in Marty Supreme.

“Thank you to my partner of three years,” he gushed. “Thank you for our foundation. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s first Sunday of 2026 proved to be unforgettable. After the Marty Supreme actor thanked his girlfriend while accepting the award for Best Actor at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, the pair decided to keep the celebrations going by attending a birthday party across town. According to social media footage, both […]

Jenner, who was also present at the Barker Hanger in Santa Monica, California, was then seen mouthing, “I love you,” back to Chalamet.

Chalamet and Jenner started dating in spring 2023 following Jenner’s split from on-off boyfriend Travis Scott. (Jenner shares daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 4, with the rapper, 34.)

“Timothée is a total gentleman and treats [Kylie] with respect. He’s very charming and he makes her laugh, and he’s easy to talk to,” a source told Us Weekly in April 2023. “He’s not like any of the other guys she’s dated before, and although he may not seem like her type, they have really good chemistry.”

While Jenner and Chalamet have kept their romance relatively quiet, the pair have continued to support each other, with Jenner attending several of Chalamet’s premieres and awards season events over the past few years.

After rumors swirled that Kylie and Chalamet broke up due to his absence from Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday, another source confirmed to Us in November 2025 that the couple are “still very much together” and that things are “very serious.”

“Everyone adores them together and he has even been present in the kids’ lives, which makes Kylie so happy,” the insider explained. “Everything is going well, and Kylie respects that he is working really hard right now and having a huge moment in his career.”

According to the second source, Kylie “doesn’t mind” that she and Chalamet “keep their relationship private” and “don’t spend every day together.”

“It makes their time together feel more special,” the source shared with Us.

Chalamet has had a busy winter with the release of his 2025 film Marty Supreme, in which he stars as main character Martin “Marty” Reisman. The A24 movie, which details Marty’s dream of becoming a champion table-tennis player, received three Golden Globe nominations and is a front-runner for multiple Oscar nominations.

The 2026 Critics Choice Awards was full of unforgettable moments, but there was a lot that viewers didn’t get to see during the broadcast. During a December 2025 interview, Chalamet admitted that he thinks his role in Marty Supreme is “probably [his] best performance.”

“It’s been, like, seven, eight years that I feel like I’ve been handing in really, really committed, top-of-the-line performances,” he explained to Margaret Gardiner in an interview shared via social media. “And it’s important to say it out loud because the discipline and the work ethic I’m bringing to these things — I don’t want people to take it for granted. I don’t want to take it for granted. This is really some top-level s***.”
