Angel Massie reveals the DM Dr. Wendy Osefo sent her years before claiming they never met

Angel Massie is calling out what she believes is a major inconsistency in her feud with Dr. Wendy Osefo.

In an exclusive interview with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea,” the “Real Housewives of Potomac” newbie revisits a purported DM exchange from 2015, when Osefo allegedly reached out to her during a deeply personal moment: the death of Massie’s mother.

She claims Osefo sent the DM years before the Bravo star insisted on camera that the two didn’t know each other.

“I know that at the top of the season she said, ‘No, I don’t know her,’” Massie claims to us. “But back in 2015, when my mom passed away, she was DM’ing me about her father, her stepfather passing away and how we had those commonalities. So do you know me or do you not know me?”

Massie says the outreach focused on shared experiences with grief, making Osefo’s later coldness — and denial — all the more confusing.

“That’s why I was taken aback,” she explains. “But, you know, I guess that behavior wasn’t real either.”

Despite the apparent contradiction, Massie insists she isn’t personally offended by Osefo’s claims. Instead, she sees it as a calculated move.

“I think that sometimes women who are narcissistic think that saying they don’t know someone gives them some type of hierarchical power … and it’s just a way to punch down,” she says, adding, “Let’s just tell the truth, right?”

The tension between the women didn’t stop there. During the season, Osefo questioned Massie’s finances — something Massie now finds particularly ironic given the former professor and husband Eddie Osefo’s own legal troubles.

In 2025, the couple were arrested and charged in connection with an alleged fraud case, a development that sent shockwaves through the Bravo fandom.

“So at the time, I didn’t know that she had questioned my finances, but at the time I thought, ‘Wow, this is very different from the brand that she portrays,’” Massie says, recalling her initial reaction to the news of the Osefos’ legal woes.

While Angel admits the situation ultimately sparked concern — especially for Wendy’s children — she made the decision not to reach out after the arrest.

“I am not one to revel in someone’s misery. And let’s be clear — this is a miserable situation,” she says. “But I have not reached out to her. We do not have that relationship, and I feel justified and vindicated in that now that I’ve seen the whole show.”

As for what’s next, Massie is leaving it up to the legal system. “She’ll have to have her day in court,” she says of Wendy.

“The Real Housewives of Potomac” airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET with new episodes available to stream the next day on Peacock.
