Apple Martin reveals her favorite thing to steal from mom Gwyneth Paltrow’s closet: ‘Heaven on earth’

Apple Martin is taking advantage of her mom’s old wardrobe.

The 20-year-old daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin sat down with Interview Magazine, where she revealed that “of course” she seizes the chance to swipe the Goop founder’s iconic nineties pieces.

“Not all of it, but I’ll sneak into her closet and steal little things,” she said, adding, “My absolute favorite stuff is her old Calvin Klein from the ’90s. I have a lot of it and it’s the best thing in the world.”

“Going into her archive closet is just heaven on earth,” she continued, referring to a special archival closet in her home where she keeps all her past fashion looks that Paltrow has spoken about previously.

The “Emma” actress, 52, is very aware of her daughter’s style sleuthing skills. As Apple explains, “She lets me steal stuff because she’s like, ‘I saved it all so that you could steal it.’”

However, the star will always make sure her daughter knows the value of her vintage wardrobe.

“She’s always like, ‘You have to be so careful,’” Apple shared.

In April 2024, Paltrow talked all about Apple’s passion for her mom’s ’90s fashion during an interview for “Today with Hoda and Jenna.”

“She loves to go into the archive and try things on, and it’s really fun,” the actress said.

“She’s absconded with many of the ’90s Calvin Klein skirts, tube skirts and all kinds of slip dresses, and she’s very into the ’90s –– as all the kids are, apparently.”
