Are Zach Bryan and Samantha Leonard Married? Couple Drive Off After Reported Spain Wedding

Did Zach Bryan and Samantha Leonard officially said “I do?”

Bryan, 29, was spotted carrying Leonard in his arms after tying to knot in Spain on Wednesday, December 31, according to multiple outlets and DeuxMoi. In one clip posted via Instagram, the two laughed as they hopped in a waiting convertible before quickly driving off. The country star rocked a tuxedo for the big day, while Leonard stunned in an elaborate wedding gown and carried a bouquet. Both were sporting sunglasses. 

A rep for Bryan did not immediately respond to Us Weekly for comment.

One day prior to the alleged nuptials, Bryan took to Instagram to share a black and white photo with himself and his buddies, seemingly teasing the ceremony in his caption with lyrics from Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling.”

“Tonight’s the night, let’s live it up / I got my money, let’s spend it up (I feel),” he wrote. “Go out and smash it, like, ‘Oh My God!’ Jump off that sofa, let’s kick it off (I feel).”

Leonard, for her part, shared a video via her Instagram Stories earlier on Wednesday of that showed her and Bryan touching down on an airplane.

Bryan and Leonard were first linked in August. The singer made things Instagram official two months later when he shared a sweet tribute for Leonard in honor of her 28th birthday.

“From bull runs to all the bulls***, today is your birthday and I love you Samantha Marie,” Bryan wrote via Instagram. “To the only woman who can hike six miles in Chanel flats, skydive over the alps and catch a bigger fish than me all in the same day. Hope your day was as graceful as you are.”

Bryan and Leonard’s romance came one year following his tumultuous split from Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia. The exes were together from summer 2023 to fall 2024.

“Brianna and me [sic] have broken up with each other and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart. She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that, I’ll always thank her,” Bryan wrote in an Instagram Story statement in October 2024. “I’ve had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways. I am not perfect and never will be.”

LaPaglia later shared that she felt “blindsided” by the break up and went on to claim that Bryan was emotionally abusive. (Bryan has not addressed the allegations. Us Weekly reached out for comment at the time.)

After news broke of Bryan’s new romance with Leonard, LaPaglia addressed fans’ comments sharing that she and Bryan’s new girlfriend look similar during an October episode of her “Plan Bri Uncut” podcast.

“Next question is [one] that I got a million times. ‘What do you think about Zach’s girlfriend looking exactly like you?’” LaPaglia, 26, began. “I think that is narcissism textbook 101, like, that’s what narcissists do. They just go and find another version of you to date.”

She continued, “People are like, ‘Are you creeped out? Are you mad? Are you flattered?’ I am flattered to be honest. I dyed my hair so that people [would] stop sending me every single picture that he posts of her, and I blocked him. I don’t wanna see this [and] I don’t want to indulge in anything that he does.”

She added that the “only time” Bryan “comes across my desk is when, he, like, jumps over fences or talks about ICE … when he’s in the news.”

LaPaglia noted that she has her ex “blocked on everything,” so information about him only comes to her through things like “articles” or when she’s scrolling her TikTok For You Page.

“But his [new girlfriend] looking exactly like me is crazy nonetheless,” she quipped.

LaPaglia claimed that every time Bryan and Leonard post a photo together, she gets DMs asking why she reconciled with her ex, which is why she dyed her hair dark brown after previously being blonde, like Leonard.

“I cannot continuously keep being compared to someone. It’s exhausting,” she explained. “It’s crazy and it’s weird that he’s dating a new version of me, but who cares at this point?”

Prior to his romance with LaPaglia, Bryan was married to Rose Madden from July 2020 to July 2021. He was also linked to Deb Peifer, but the pair called it quits after in May 2023.
