Ariana Biermann Moves Out of New York Apartment After Hudson McLeroy Split: ‘A Bittersweet Thing’

A day later, McLeroy addressed the separation in his own statement posted to Instagram Stories.

“I feel like everyone deserves to hear both sides of our story,” he wrote. “I still and always will love Ariana.”

“She’s been there for me at times when I couldn’t be there for myself,” McLeroy said. “I still have a lot of things I need to heal from and deal with on my own to become the person I truly want to be.”

He concluded, “I appreciate all of the love and support everyone is showing us during this difficult time.”

The couple dated on and off since high school, and first went public with their relationship on social media in 2018.

Biermann, the daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak, and McLeroy moved to New York City together in July 2024. They documented their first year in the Big Apple in the first season of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, which premiered in June.

The show also captured Biermann rekindling her childhood friendship with Riley Burruss, the daughter of Zolciak’s RHOA costar Kandi Burruss. Zolciak and Kandi famously fell out on the reality show over Zolciak’s song “Tardy for the Party,” which Kandi cowrote and produced.

“I’m so happy we can show the world that it doesn’t matter when you stop being somebody’s friend or what happens between your families — you can still pick up and have a friendship outside of all the bulls***,” Biermann exclusively told Us Weekly in a recent interview.

Riley added, “I was nervous, but we spent the day together, even outside of the cameras. We became best friends in two hours.”
