Art Basel Miami Beach 2024: Biggest parties and events

Each December, celebrities, athletes, billionaires and influencers descend on Miami to attend Art Basel Miami Beach.

While much of the glitterati will be in town to purchase some new art pieces, others will simply enjoy the lavish celebrations surrounding Art Week.

Past A-listers making the rounds at Art Basel have included Snoop Dogg, Kim Kardashian, Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Brady.

Celsius x Padel Reserve

Friday, Dec. 6

The Celsius Classic is back for the second year at Reserve Padel in Miami on Friday, Dec. 6.

A-listers and influencers are expected to attend and participate in the charity-driven padel tournament.

Guests can enjoy curated bites, Celsius beverages, a live DJ set and gifted limited-edition merch.

The Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach

Friday, Dec. 4 – Saturday, Dec. 7

Tribeca Festival at Art Basel Miami Beach, in association with Art Basel and presented by The Ordinary and ESPN, will take place at the Miami Beach Bandshell from Dec. 4 to Dec. 7.

Programming will include a headlining conversation with Camila Cabello, performances by artists Magdalena Bay, Makaya McCraven, Neggy Gemmy and Luedji Luna, and DJ sets by Brainville and Natasha Diggs and L3NI. 

There will also be a retrospective screening of Mike Nichols’ 1996 film “The Birdcage,” followed by a drag show from the queens of Palace South Beach. 

Judith Lieber x Sexy Fish

Wednesday, Dec. 4

Sexy Fish is partnering with Judith Leiber Couture to celebrate the brand’s latest collaboration with artist Ashley Longshore and the debut of the alluring Bust Bag collection with a luncheon on Dec. 4.

The event will preview the brand’s Holiday ’24 collection and guests will be treated to special glittery gifts.

Judith Leiber Couture’s EVP and Chief Creative Officer Jana Matheson will be there to host the stylish event.

The Cultivist x Captial One x Hassan Hajjaj

Tuesday, Dec. 3

The Cultivist, Capital One and Hassan Hajjaj are partnering to bring Morocco’s heritage and vibrancy to life with a fully immersive art installation and lineup of public programming and VIP events with an invite-only preview on Dec. 3.

The Hassan Hajjaj pop-up titled DAR MIAMI will then be open to the public.

Capital One cardholders and VIPs will have access to two unique dining experiences curated by Michelin star Chef Rose Previte and live music performances by Simo Lagnawi, Anderson. Paak, Kaytranada and more.

Attendees will also have access to limited edition merch designed by Hajjaj including wearable items and homewares inspired by Moroccan Heritage.

Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College

Monday, Dec. 2 – Saturday, March 15, 2025

Museum of Art and Design at Miami Dade College, in partnership with the Women Artists Archive Miami, will present Kabuya Pamela Bowens-Saffo: From the Heights., marking the artist’s first-ever solo show.

“Her impact on South Florida’s cultural landscape is celebrated in this first-of-its-kind exhibition featuring archival materials presented alongside artwork from the early 80s to the present that is deeply tied to the community,” a press release states. “Specializing in printmaking and mixed media constructions, her art delves into social and political human relations, emphasizing the African American experience.”

The event is open to the public.

LIV Miami x Art Week

Thursday, Dec. 5 – Sunday, Dec. 8

LIV Miami is celebrating Art Week with a stellar line-up of performances throughout the week.

Artists expected to take the stage at David Grutman’s beloved nightclub include Diplo, DJ Khaled, John Summit and Lil Wayne.

American Express x Art Week

Wednesday, Dec. 4 – Sunday, Dec. 8

The Resy Lounge is returning to the Untitled Art Fair, presented by Delta Air Lines and American Express.

Guests can use the space to sit back, relax, and enjoy complimentary food and beverages by Jon & Vinny’s.

Eligible Delta Air Lines American Express card members will gain access to exclusive offerings including specialty dishes, dedicated bars serving Helen’s Wines and Helen’s exclusive cocktails, outdoor cabanas, curated gift bags and a meet and greet with renowned artist Justin Lim. 

Thursday, Dec. 5

Night Shift at Jon & Vinny’s, hosted by American Express and Delta, is a one-night event at the Rubell Museum.

The after-hours party will include intimate performances from surprise musical guests, cocktails and late night Jon & Vinny’s pizza to-go, in limited edition American Express x Delta pizza boxes.

Saturday, Dec. 7

WANDERLUST presented by Marriott Bonvoy American Express will host its 8th Annual Miami Art Basel party at the W South Beach on Dec. 7.

This exclusive Card Member party will bring the popular Resy restaurant, Superbueno, to Miami Beach for a taste of iconic Mexican dishes, immersive art sculptures from renowned visual artist Jimena Montemayor, and sounds from South Africa with amapiano performing DJ Uncle Waffles. 

Ostrow Brasserie x Art Basel

Monday, Dec. 2

Ostrow Brasserie, Miami’s first Kosher-French restaurant helmed by world-renowned French chef Olivia Ostrow, will celebrate Art Basel with an extraordinary four-course wine pairing dinner hosted by Amar’e Stoudemire.

The founder of Stoudemire Wines will be curating the wine pairings from Israel and guests will dine on dishes inspired by Israeli artists Gil Goren, Nir Segal and Brian Poli-Dixon.

Venezuelan artist, LAMACA, will give a live performance at the event.

Christopher Grand Opening

Wednesday, Dec. 4.

Christopher King, a true embodiment of ultra-luxury and heritage-rich craftsmanship, will celebrate its official debut.

The eponymous brand offers a curated collection of premium leather goods, distinguished accessories, artisanal home pieces, and furniture.

King will host an invite-only celebration, sponsored by Krug Champagne, at the brand’s new flagship store in Coral Gables.

Fuel Venture Capital x Tony Kelly

Friday, Dec. 6

Fuel Venture Capital will host a special book signing with Tony Kelly aboard the Sealyon yacht.

Hallucinarium x Art Week

Elrow’s brand-new immersive show, Hallucinarium, was designed in partnership with iconic psychedelic artists Alex & Allyson Grey and will be held at Factory Town. 

The boundary-pushing show “draws inspiration from the Greys’ trademark sacred geometry and visionary iconography, creating an immersive spectacle of mind-bending stage sets, larger-than-life costumes, and interactive art installations that bring to life an unparalleled multi-sensory experience,” according to a press release.

CONTEXT Art Miami x Derek Jeter

Tuesday, Dec. 3 – Sunday, Dec. 8

Art Miami is partnering with Major League Baseball to debut a captivating artwork by acclaimed artist Russell Young, featuring New York Yankees legend Derek Jeter.

A portion of the proceeds will support Derek’s Turn 2 Foundation and the Perry J. Cohen Foundation.

Grey Goose x Art Week

Thursday, Dec. 5

Grey Goose vodka will unveil its first-ever A.I.R. Chateau — a one-night-only artists in residence (A.I.R.) experience created in partnership with art collective MSCHF at a private villa in Miami Beach.

The event will showcase boundary-defying works at the peak of their craft, including new and beloved works from MSCHF and a DJ set by Diplo.

D’USSÉ x Art Week

Friday, Dec. 6

D’USSÉ Cognac is throwing an invite-only party at the Saxony Bar at Faena Hotel.

Grammy-winning producer Hit-Boy will host the evening of curated beats and cocktails and Chase B and Spinser Tracy will spin tunes.

The soirée will celebrate D’USSÉ and Hit-Boy’s new limited-edition holiday gift box and augmented reality experience called “The Set.”

Habibi, Miami’s newest hotspot, is celebrating Art Week with a live art showcase by artist Mr. Drip.

The evening will also feature a DJ set from Sounds of Rituals, who has performed at iconic clubs worldwide alongside legends like Black Coffee.

Mason Yacht House x Art Week

Miami’s hot new membership club, Manson Yacht House, will be previewing their floating concept during Art Week.

Wednesday, Dec. 4

Maison Margiela is celebrating artist Kozo with an exclusive celebration at the brand’s Miami Design District store.

Ocean Drive’s “Art of the Party”

Thursday, Dec. 5

Ocean Drive’s annual “Art of the Party” event will be hosted by Chance The Rapper.

Taking place on the grandiose Ocean & La Côte Lawn at Fontainebleau Miami Beach,’ the evening will celebrate the release of the glossy’s December Art Issue featuring the rapper on the cover.

DJ Crespo will give an opening performance before Chance takes to the stage. Gianluca Vacchi will close out the evening.

Boich Family Cellar x Ross Caliendo

Friday, Dec. 6

Boich Family Cellar is collaborating with acclaimed artist Ross Caliendo to create an exclusive label artwork for the 2022 Perennius Cabernet Sauvignon Art Edition.

John Boich and Ross Caliendo will host a private unveiling on Dec. 6, 2024, from 3pm to 6pm at Ross + Kramer Gallery, celebrating the fusion of fine art and exceptional winemaking.

Queen Omakase x Atlas

Thursday, Dec. 5 – Saturday, Dec. 7

Queen Omakase will present an exclusive, multi-sensory dining experience titled the “4 Hands Omakase Collaboration” on Dec. 5, 6, and 7.

Marion Miami x Art Week

Artist Franck Brill will present an exclusive interactive art showcase, engaging guests throughout the evening in an immersive dining experience, where artistry takes the spotlight on Dec. 3.

Marion’s signature Thursday Soirée will welcome Kei’s Smile Factory, bringing her unique Japanese live-painting style with vibrant body art and personal interactions, all set to dynamic beats by Miami-based DJ Eran Hersh from 12 to 2 a.m on Dec. 5.

Denver’s Yacht Club x Sweet Liberty Drinks and Supply Co.

E11even x Art Week

Wednesday, Dec. 4 – Sunday, Dec. 8

E11even Miami presents “The Art of Nightlife” and the Inaugural Golf Classic for this year’s Art Week.

Artists scheduled to perform include 50 Cent, Steve Aoki and Lil Wayne.

On Dec. 5, E11even will debut its Golf Classic at Normandy Shores Golf Club. The event, sponsored by Happy Dad, Maestro Dobel Tequila, and E11EVEN Vodka, will offer golf, premium drinks, exclusive art activations and a charitable Longeset Drive contest.

The Grand Opening of Christopher King’s THE PALAZZO

• Live Mural Painting: On Dec. 2 at 4 p.m., Christopher “Flore” Florentino will transform a Mandarin Oriental, Miami hotel wall into a stunning mural, open to the public on Floor Level G.

• Art-Inspired Cocktails at MO Bar + Lounge: Savor creative cocktails inspired by the styles of the featured artists, blending exceptional art with culinary innovation.

• Art and Gastronomy at La Mar: On Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m., Manolo Perez will showcase exclusive art pieces at La Mar by Gastón Acurio, complemented by a live painting session.

• Amo by Oka Tasting Menu: Indulge in a bespoke eight-course tasting menu, presented on hand-crafted ceramic plates by Executive Chef Diego Oka. Soho Beach House x Art Week

Saturday, Nov. 30 – Sunday, Dec. 8

Soho Beach House will kicked off Art Week with a celebratory party in collaboration with Peachfuzz, featuring DJ sets by DZA, and drinks by Veuve Clicquot with Beach Tent Opening Night on Nov. 30. Later, Louie Arson and Kamari showcased their dance music in Art Weeks’ edition of Club Sounds.

On Sunday, Dec. 1, The Teeny Tent event opened for a kids’ rave and family-friendly refreshments.

Dec. 2, Bisa Butler and Hebru Brantley will partake in a discussion at the venue’s Beach Bar with complimentary Bombay Sapphire cocktails for guests. Then John Butler will DJ at the Main Pool and Pharrell Williams will celebrate his Evian bottle designs with an evening or art, mixology and culinary creativity.

On Dec. 3, Typoe and Kate Bryan will have a chat about work, their creative process and Art Week installations as part of Soho Visionaries, powered by Porsche. Bryan will then sit down with Anakena Paddon to discuss Soho House’s collection.

On Dec. 4, Amaarae will perform in the Beach Tent for the Porsche Presents: Amaarae event. Silent Addy will hit the Club Bar in the evening.

On Dec. 5, ICA Miami’s Alex Gartenfeld, curator Stephanie Seidel, and artist Marguerite Humeau will host a breakfast. Hans Ulrich Obrist will also join Billie Zangewa and Thomas Girst for a compelling discussion. Paperwater will perform late in the evening.

On Friday, Dec. 6, Rose Marie Cromwell will discuss her photography and Las Flaquitas, Zulan, and Ape Drums of Major Lazer will perform at the Beach Tent. Bozito will also perform.

Bob Moses will perform a live set in collaboration with LaCroix Water on Saturday, Dec. 7.

Moodymann and Carl Craig will wrap up Art Week with a closing party in the Beach Tent, in collaboration with LaCroix Water.

HE.SHE.THEY Art Basel: Richie Hawtin

Featuring an all-star lineup headlined by label boss Francis Mercier, and sets from Alan Dixon, Joezi, MoBlack, and more, dance under the Miami sky to celebrate the essence of Art Basel.

Ray’s x Miami

Friday, Dec. 6

Dine with Dez will celebrate their 1-year anniversary co-hosted by The Untitled Magazine at the new-opened Ray’s Miami at Broken Shaker on Friday, Dec. 6 for an invite-only dinner party.

This special evening filled with dance, music, and special performances by the Aqualillies will be hosted at the award-winning venue that embodies tropical nostalgia.

Following the private dinner, the performance afterparty doors open at 10 p.m. to the public with entry at the doorman’s discretion. 

NYLON House

Friday, Dec. 6

NYLON House is returning to Miami Art Week, presented by e.l.f. Cosmetics.

The evening will celebrate the latest release of NYLON’s broadsheet, featuring their latest cover star: Camila Cabello.

Ludacris will put on a performance presented by Movado and HUGE is also set to DJ.

Harbour Club x Art Week

Thursday, Dec. 5 – Sunday, Dec. 8

The private members-only Harbour Club is kicking off its first Art Basel by partnering with Fouquet’s New York.

Guests will be treated to a pastry cart offering complimentary croissants and cappuccinos throughout the week.
