Astronomer CEO Andy Byron has resigned following his cheating scandal with co-worker Kristin Cabot.

“As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met,” a rep for the tech company tells Page Six Saturday.

“Andy Byron has tendered his resignation, and the Board of Directors has accepted. The Board will begin a search for our next Chief Executive as Cofounder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO.”

The statement continues, “Before this week, we were known as a pioneer in the DataOps space, helping data teams power everything from modern analytics to production AI.”

Astronomer concludes, “While awareness of our company may have changed overnight, our product and our work for our customers have not. We’re continuing to do what we do best: helping our customers with their toughest data & AI problems.”

The resignation comes less than 24 hours after Astronomer announced Byron and Cabot had been put on leave and that a formal investigation was pending.

“Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability,” the company wrote via LinkedIn Friday.

“The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly.”

It then declared, “Alyssa Stoddard was not at the event and no other employees were in the video. Andy Byron has not put out any statement, reports saying otherwise are all incorrect.”

Stoddard is an Astronomer employee who works under Kristin. Many people online speculated that she was the brunette woman beside the HR exec in the now-viral kiss cam video who seemed embarassed.

However, a rep for Astronomer reiterated exclusively to Page Six Friday, “Alyssa was not there. This is a rumor started on Twitter.

“There may be some similarities in the countenance of the person, but it’s not [Stoddard].  So [the rumor] is totally false based on misinformation.”

Byron and Cabot were caught canoodling via a jumbotron camera at a Coldplay concert in the Boston-area Wednesday night.

The couple sparked confusion when they reacted by trying to hide from the cameras when they saw themselves on the screen.

Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, joked at the time, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Their wild reactions sparked tons of memes that even Astronomer’s interim CEO, DeJoy, recently seemed to admit that he enjoyed laughing at.

However, it appears that the reality of the scandal is no laughing matter. Byron is married to a woman named Megan Kerrigan Byron, who removed his last name from her Facebook and deactivated her social media amid her husband’s media storm.

Cabot divorced her first husband, Kenneth Thornby, in 2022, per Massachusetts court records obtained by The Post. However, it appears she may now be married to Privateer Rum’s CEO Andrew Cabot, since they share the same last name and are co-owners of the same house in New Hampshire.

Recent social media pics show Kristin wearing a wedding ring while posing with Andrew and two kids.
