Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 9 With Husband Daniel Neeleman
Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman is expecting her ninth baby with husband Daniel Neeleman.
The influencer shared the news to Instagram on Wednesday, February 25, alongside an advertisement for Ballerina Farm’s Farmer Protein Powder.
“As a ballerina, you are associated with many things: elegance, grace, poise,” Hannah said in a voiceover, while a clip of her walking while showing off her baby bump.
She continued, “But a term not often associated enough: strength. Before the curtain rose, there existed discipline, sweat, blistered feet. … On this stage, I learned to be strong, and despite what some people think, that strength never leaves you. It prepares you.”
Before the clip came to an end, Hannah was seen standing on the porch of her and David’s Utah home as she placed a hand on her pregnant stomach.
“Their routines make strength easy to see: practice, repetition, balance, and care,” the caption read. “The same things many of us rely on every day, just expressed differently. Farmer Protein was made to support that kind of strength. The kind that carries you from stage to stage no matter what that looks like for you.”
Hannah and David are parents to eight children. The couple welcomed their eighth baby, daughter Flora Jo, in January 2024. Days after Flora’s birth, Hannah competed in the Mrs. World competition. (Hannah was named Mrs. American in 2023.)
Hannah, who studied at Juilliard, has made headlines through the years for her “traditional wife,” a.k.a “trad wife,” lifestyle. Hannah, however, doesn’t “necessarily identify” with the label.
“Because we are traditional in the sense that it’s a man and a woman, we have children, but I do feel like we’re paving a lot of paths that haven’t been paved before,” Hannah explained to The Sunday Times in 2024.
While Hannah is a stay-at-home mom, she explained that she has a high earning job as a contributor on her and Daniel’s farm.
“For me to have the label of a traditional woman,” she cautiously continued. “I’m kinda, like, I don’t know if I identify with that.”
When asked if Daniel identifies as the head of their household, he replied, “No. We’re co-CEOs.” Hannah echoed the sentiment, adding, “Yeah. We are.”
Hannah went on to share that she’s not sure she considers herself to be a feminist.
“There’s so many different ways you could take that word. I don’t even know what feminism means anymore,” she said, adding that she “absolutely” feels like she has been judged by others. “We try so hard to be neutral and be ourselves and people will put a label on everything. This is just our normal life.”
Hannah noted that Daniel is able to tune out the noise. “Daniel is so good about that. He says you can’t lean into what people are saying or the titles people are putting on you,” Hannah said as she looked at her husband. “You just have to live your life and shut that out, because if not it will overtake you.”
