Barbara Corcoran Doesn’t Know If She Can Survive Shark Tank Without Mark Cuban

Fans will be sad to see Mark Cuban go, but his absence on Shark Tank will most definitely be felt by Barbara Corcoran.
During an appearance on the April 9 broadcast of The Jennifer Hudson Show, the businesswoman, 76, opened up about her longtime costar leaving the entrepreneurial show after 15 years.
After noting how Cuban was “such a sweetheart” and joking that sitting next to a billionaire made her feel “richer,” Corcoran revealed the touching way she’s come to rely on him over their tenure together.
“What Mark does for me is, he does my math. I still don’t have a way with numbers so he tells me,” she explained. “I’ll say, ‘What does that represent? What percentage?’ He does the math for me and hands me papers all through the show.”
“But I can’t imagine how I’m going to survive on that show without him, because who’s going to do my math?” she joked. “I just have to get a new guy or something.”
During an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast in November 2023, Cuban revealed that he would not be returning to the ABC series after season 16.
“This is our 15th year, and next year, our 16th year, is gonna be my last year so I got one more year to go,” he said, telling hosts Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson he feels “it’s time” to leave the series after first appearing as a guest in season 2 and joining full-time in season 3.
The following October, Cuban geared up for his final day filming Shark Tank and exclusively told PEOPLE about what he thought would be the hardest goodbye.
“[It’s] going to be more about the crew and the staff because most of them have been here for 15 years and it’s family,” he explained. “We all look forward to getting together twice a year for a long time and seeing each other for 12 hours a day.”

Sharing how leaving behind the cast and crew will be the “hardest part,” the billionaire businessman added, “I won’t miss the deals.”
“The deals are always out there, but I’ll miss the people and I’ll miss having an impact just from the show itself because we send a message every day that the American dream is alive and well,” he continued, noting how that message was the thing he was “most proud of.”
